Being unable to see the selected champion's stats during Worlds games due to that spot being covered by an image that says "WORLDS" is very frustrating (Worlds Spectate HUD). Posted: 03 Oct 2020 06:23 AM PDT It used to be on the bottom left of the HUD, right below the blue team's champions. The second image is taken from this year's LCK finals. I'd look at that spot to see stuff like stacks, skill order, xp, AP, armor/mr, whatever. It was useful. LEC and LCS started to cover that spot for other stuff, mainly sponsors, current patch and whatnot. But right now there's only an image with the WORLDS logo for 95% of the game. The remaining 5% is inhib timers IF the game is a long one. It's not being used for sponsors or ads or any other thing. A spot that used to provide at least some information is now literally a dead space for reasons beyond me. Really frustrating to be honest. The retrowave, cyberpunk, 80's aesthetic AND music are things that are not explored in the game (yet). I was dreaming of some concepts for Lux and Sona, but I ended up doing Senna's. I just coudn't resist imagining her with a "Neon Gun". It was actually hard to achieve the final concept, but I think it was worth it. It would be nice to see her in this hairstyle. Made it to Gold after 8 years Posted: 03 Oct 2020 12:33 PM PDT I finally did it. I hit gold. I've been playing this game for so long that my icon remains to be the one Riot gave out at the season 2 championship match. I know gold isn't really that great, but it's been my goal for many, many years. My friends always described me as "a gold player stuck in silver" and I wanted to prove that I can get out of silver hell by myself. Now, I can say I have. To all those AFK'ers, INT'ers, and that Nasus that told me I'll never get out of silver 3, I fucking did it. Rek'sai is the only champion that is a mother Posted: 03 Oct 2020 12:49 PM PDT It's pretty weird that of all of the 53 females champions currently in game, only 1 is actually a confirmed mother even then I don't think rek'sai is really the motherly type and we don't ever see any of her offsprings in game there is also a pretty big lack of any motherly figure champions on the other hand not only we do actually have a champion that is a father (kassadin is kai'sa's father) but we also have a lot of fatherly figure champions (viktor could be argued as blitz father , braum is a stereotipically fatherly figure, zed is not only the mentor but the closest thing to a father figure for kayn same for shen and akali and yi and wukong) and yet the only champion that to me come to mind close to some sort of motherly figure is soraka and it's mostly due to her role and kit submitted by /u/salasy [link] [comments]
