Posted: 24 Oct 2019 02:39 PM PDT Due to how slows work, when Kalista is slowed it slows her jump speed, same as how is slows Yasuo's dash speed, since it slows Kalista's jump speed, you have a larger period between auto attacks, actually REDUCING her auto attack speed from movement speed slows. This means you have two choices when slowed as Kalista: - Stand still and auto attack, meaning you can't kite. - Continue auto attacking and moving, but at a heavily reduced rate. I propose that instead of looking to buff Kalista in terms of numbers, which has clearly been an issue in the past, Kalista should instead have her jump **distance** reduced. Due to how popular slows are in League now, it feels like every champion has an AS Reduction in their kit when you play her. To showcase how common slows are in League of legends, see here: https://prnt.sc/pnstm0 A proposed second, alternative change is give Kalista's Q the Lucian E treatment, but increase it's CD slightly. So that her Q removes slows when used, though is now as less accessible. Would love to know your thoughts on this, I feel like it would push her back to some form of viability without worrying about over buffing her damage or utility. EDIT: As /u/Aotoi suggested, moving Kalista's passive to her W, having the hop be a toggle ability is great in my opinion. It could work similar to Urgot W, allowing her to switch between normal kiting and jump kiting. Once fully leveled, it costs no mana, and can be toggled on and off at will. This way she would scale well while remaining stable early game. Edit 2: As /u/hpp3 said: "Let's say Kalista takes 0.5s to jump 200 units normally. If she's 50% slowed, it takes her 1s to jump 200 units. This effectively halves her DPS in addition to reducing her mobility. Posted: 24 Oct 2019 02:40 PM PDT In the 77 games of Worlds 2018 Kai'sa had an 80.5% presence (43 picks 19 bans) along with Xayah who shared 80.5% presence (34 picks 23 bans). The next most prevalent bot laner was Sivir at 35.1% presence (18 picks 9 bans). In the 55 games of the the Current Worlds 2019 tournament a similar trend is present. Kai'sa has a 74% presence (31 picks 6 bans) and Xayah has a 76% presence (24 picks 14 bans). The next most prevalent bot laner is currently Ezreal at 32% presence, followed by Garen at 12% presence. Other roles have some high overlap, with Leblanc having over 50% presence in both tournaments and Ryze at around 50-40%. Notably Rakan also had a high presence (I wonder why?) at 72% in 2018 and 60% in 2019. Besides the 5 champions listed above, the top 20 most prevalent champions share no overlap between the two tournaments. This becomes even more interesting given that this worlds tournament has the most unique champion picks at 87 unique champion picks compared to the 76 of last year. Posted: 24 Oct 2019 09:18 AM PDT There is no way any of you can argue in favor of those skins and yes, I am talking about Red Baron and Ice Toboggan Corki. Is not that they are old legendary skins, is the fact that they are not even up to par with the other old legendary skins; Gentleman Cho at least has a funny voiceover like Brolaf (This last one actually got an update recently and some of it's effects got changed too) and for me that makes the skins a little worth it, the fiddle one at least dosen't costs 1820 and the effects it brings are pretty funny too (Who dosent like to party?) but the Corki skins? No, I can't find a way to justify them beeing legendary tier since the only thing they change is the model and in case of Red Baron Corki, not even that much. I know Riot won't change the tier of the skin nor change the value, but I think that removing them from the 10 year anniversary gift would be a good move since I think not even Corki players would want those skins now even more after Arcade and Corgi Corki came out. And yes, I made this account just to complain about a free gift. Is this how you reddit? Edit: I forgot Magnificient Twisted Fate and Annie from Wonderland, two skin which are similar to the Corki ones on the basis that they dont change anything apart from the model so yeah, it would suck to get those two too [link] [comments] | ||

UPDATE 10/24 Jungle tuning iteration 2After our first round of tuning we see that balancing Krugs and Gromp is going well but the balance between ganking and farming has been overly skewed towards ganking as priority. We want to open more varied strategies for junglers and make the lost farm for ganking more substantial.

It's been 6 months since it released and most of its voice lines still doesn't play except respawn, cast ultimate, long move (these exist, basically you just go to lane from base) and some other little things. Which kinda makes it strange because you hear more and different lines from the original Jhin. I think it needs to be fixed. And yes, that is a major problem for me because I'm a Jhin main. As of now 14 out of 15 players representing EU at worlds belong on EUNE based on where they are from (Bwipo is the only player who is from an EUW country). Everyone who's serious about the game goes to EUW, while EUNE doesn't have its own seed or any sort of competitive presence. What's the point of the server anyway? Originally it was to get rid of long login queues, but that solution was chosen because of the limited options available to Riot at the time. With current infrastructure solution doesn't require creating a whole new server. More players = stronger server and more EU talent from the EUNE countries. [link] [comments] |
