Deft has overtaken Clid for a spot in the 2019 All Star Event ! Posted: 17 Nov 2019 10:06 AM PST https://vote.euw.lolesports.com/en-GB#results/region/lck Seems like there is a race between these 2 with a merely 0.1% difference as of writing. Now this might change and might be the tip of the iceberg compared to other regions' voting. However this is how it stands according to EUW voting. [link] [comments]
Posted: 17 Nov 2019 05:19 AM PST Summoner spellsGarbage Tier Mark/Dash: If you just use Mark, you're throwing a snowball. Do it enough times and you'll get your ass beat. If you want to kill/injure yourself and someone else with you, activate Dash afterwards. Terrible. Poro Toss/Dash: Same as above except instead of a snowball you throw a small animal. Ugh. To the King: Throw 10 small animals at people to summon a bigger animal which is wearing a crown. You can then dash towards the bigger animal. I can see someone using it accidentally while in a tall building and getting ejected out the window. Fortify: Is your house getting shot at? You can make it invulnerable for a few seconds which won't change a thing. Maybe useful during a war, otherwise useless. Promote: Turn your dog into a bear! Turn your cat into a lion! You also get some more cash in your bank account whenever it kills something, probably you. C Tier Flash: Relatively useless unless you're a criminal or forgot your keys. Could maybe save you from getting hit by a car if you have fast reflexes but you might end up being hit by it anyway as it tries to avoid your original position. Ignite: Want to set things on fire but can't afford a 50 cent lighter? Only useful maybe for bar tricks. Garrison: Good for improving the structural integrity of your house every once in a while or weakening your neighbour's house that keeps mowing his grass at 7 am on a Saturday. Stifle: Not that useful but good trolling potential. Silence people for 3 seconds. Watch them panic when they can't talk. Rally: Useful if you and your buddies get into frequent fistfights with the police because you're a protester by profession. Might help you win a fight. Surge: Same as above except you can only use it on a friend. So C- tier. Backtrack: Like Mark/Dash except you're invulnerable so you won't die. However you always go towards your house and destroy the stuff you hit. Good way to get arrested for property damage or killing people that are in the way. B Tier Exhaust: Useful for outrunning people. Not too many situations that you can use it in without being a dick. Smite: Are you a sick psychopath who likes killing animals? Smite's the thing for you. Might be useful if your job is a butcher. Using it on a large animal will also heal you a bit so if you're sick hopefully you have a zoo nearby so you can smite the polar bears. If you have a blade or sabre with you, you can also smite people for a bit of damage and then promptly get beat up/killed. Barrier: Can use it to save your life from getting hit by a car, but your reflexes need to be godlike. Maybe useful as a soldier. Again, very situational. Clairvoyance: Can be very useful to spy on people, see things without having to be there. Sadly you can only do it for 5 seconds. A Tier Ghost: Run fast and through animals. The second part not that useful but getting a speed boost is always a good thing. Clarity: Recall: Like teleport but you can only go home, so not as good. But still extremely useful. Warp: The slightly more useful version of Flash. You dash a short distance in any direction while being invulnerable. You can also hold 3 charges of it which recharge fast. Once you get used to warping around everywhere it's going to be hard to go back to regular walking and opening doors. S Tier Teleport: Want to go to Egypt? Boom. Channel for 4 seconds and you save yourself a plane ticket. Going to work and back without traffic. Extremely useful spell. Observer: Kinda like Clairvoyance, but actually useful. Can see any part of the world at any time. Cleanse (Moved A→S): Heal (Moved S+→S): Got shot? Heal. Papercut? Heal. Got an STD? S+ Tier Revive: Did you die? Revive. You wake up at home and can also move faster for 12 seconds for some reason. Resuscitate: Revive people by standing 2 seconds next to their corpse. The non-selfish version of Revive. Credit goes to u/crawlingbacktolife for the idea with his post. [link] [comments]
Posted: 17 Nov 2019 12:38 PM PST The data from Lolalylitics doesn't lie. https://lolalytics.com/lol/tierlist/?lane=support&tier=master_plus How has this champion allowed to remain the single best support for months? Why hasn't Riot hit him with one of those "big, serious nerfs" intended to "quickly lower Champion winrate"? [link] [comments]
Ran into 70% WR Kassadin/Taric funneling duo in GM, apparently it's still a thing Posted: 17 Nov 2019 02:13 AM PST Here's the Kassadin's op.gg: https://eune.op.gg/summoner/userName=Peacetoletov Apparently it still works. They told us to play safe, duo farmed JG and mid lane all game long without ganking, even lost 1st turret at mid lane. But when the dragon and baron fights broke out, Taric ult and level 16 Kassadin just deleted everyone and we straight out won the game for free. It just feels like bullshit to me, had I been on the opposing side I'd feel super frustrated. [link] [comments]

Still Waiting on the Rod of Ages Rework That Just Disappeared Posted: 17 Nov 2019 09:47 AM PST So Riot didn't want to add it in the middle of the season even though it was testing well because it may cause big fluctuations in the middle of the season which is fine, but where are the changes now for the preseason? Please don't forget about it. They spent time and effort and now they are wasting a great opportunity to test them out for the community. [link] [comments]

Ekko nerf Idea: his R now has a cooldown Posted: 17 Nov 2019 02:41 PM PST Thoughts Reddit? Being allowed to kill Ekko through his numerous dashes, slows, speed boosts, and stuns will definitely open up some much needed counterplay. I propose that his R have a cooldown. What do we think? Is this nerf too harsh? Let me know, I'm interested in hearing your thoughts [link] [comments]

Moving from NA to Korean servers has been a nightmare Posted: 17 Nov 2019 01:46 AM PST For context: I moved to the country recently and figured I'd take advantage of the 10> ping and created a new account. Breezed through the new tutorials (which by all accounts is super well done compared to the past) and queued up for a normals. Holy s*** the Korean server is toxic. Literally from champ select and into the entire game, people were hurling obscenities and typing insults at speeds I didn't think were possible in-game. I thought I'd be used to tilt and flame from my stint at NA, but Koreans take it to a whole new level. Every small mistake, stolen CS, and microscopic slip-up gets faced with a hellstorm of insults, usually from obvious smurfs, and takes any joy out of leveling myself to 30 again or playing at all. Not saying any one server is better than the other, but hot damn y'all Koreans have nerves of steel to play through any of this. Tl:dr I need to learn to type and game better. [link] [comments]
On Skarner, and why he absolutely needs a VGU (TL;DR and brief conclusions) Posted: 17 Nov 2019 09:48 AM PST Hello! I started playing almost exclusively Skarner since the frst day i bought him, in late s3, played through all his reworks, and now i got more than 900k mastery points on him. Straight to the point, here's why Skarner *needs* a vgu. - Spires passive needs to go. A VGU is the only way the spires passive will be tackled. Skarner's kit and base stats have been nerfed harshly to justify such passive, and yet the spires retain too much power for being so contestable. All while failing to achieve their goal: we got no lane agency, no premier objective control, more feast/famine than ever, no other way to be relevant when ult is on cd. His gameplay looks literally like a relic from past times when confronted with the most recent releases/reworks, a ticking bomb that keeps getting near complete unviability for every new champ/rework that gets released: Skarner always thrived by punishing his enemies mistakes, but now that champions have so many options to overcome their weaknesses and mistakes, Skarner got less and less options/agency to overcome his weaknesses/misplays, and relies more and more on his team to succeed, few examples: at only 1300g, QSS can reliably shut down his ult, and his main teamfight/peeling/picking/dueling tool; the ever increasing cc and mobility makes it harder and harder for him to get close; no base values on Q and shield means he desperately needs items to deal damage and survive fights. This led him to build more as a tanky cc bot, which is a lower income build and gets online faster. However the gameplay is one of the most boring, and sure doesn't accomplish his original fantasy of being an "inescapable predator that sticks to you and never lets go". However even that build fell off, as more and more people learnt to play around it, and it was clear that other picks could just do the same thing, without needing the same infrastructure and team effort and that skarner needs. Prime example is this year's Worlds, where you could see him always getting picked with a dedicated pick champ (such as nautilus) that could assist him in making picks, and then being suddenly phased out in groups, in favor of more capable junglers that could to the same, if not better, without all the infrastructure and team effort that Skarner needs. This leads to another point: He also sits in this weird spot between a tank, and a bruiser, with some niche ap builds: Skarner literally can scale off of everything, and can work with most keystones. This huge build diversity was previously this was one of his most regarded traits, but in the LoL where every champion exceeds at doing a unique task, it looks like sharing traits of both vanguards and juggernauts is causing confusion, and makes it hard to determine what skarner is, and what to balance: spires give a huge 160% AS at lvl18, MS, and mana regen, but the he got the cc-chain of a tank, but his Q is an AoE that scales with 90% tAD and deals hybrid damage, but his ult is one of the most powerful ccs in the game, etc. This leads to his ult. Another big topic when discussing Skarner. To cite one f my past threads: AS IT IS RIGHT NOW, HIS ULT CANNOT BE NERFED/BUFFED WITHOUT BREAKING IT. First of all, it literally defines skarner, it's healthy, creates high moments in playing skarner, and us skarner players are literally attached to it. It's also cool, and even riot recognizes it. "You might think it's really too powerful, but with how much power has creeped (especially mobility/cc) recently, it actually has become the only thing that keeps skarner afloat. Just look at new releases can do, you think skarner got picked because of the spires? He got picked because of predator+ult, spires could go away in the next ten minutes and none would bat an eye. Take away/nerf Skarner's ult and he'd be neutered. He already has to go in melee range to cast it, and with mobility and cc ever increasing, it's risky, and requires your team to follow-up, as you got no ways to retaliate; Qss reliably counters It, and it's easily accessible if you're ahead. But let's say we want to work on his ult, what would you do? Put a condition to it? Which one? Let's say you can only ult marked targets. Well good luck because E slows itself the more units it crosses, on top of being quite dodgeable. The only thing that you could possibly nerf to it would be the damage, the ability to suppress and drag away people is what really counts. But it's low damage compared to other ults, where would you put it in a way it would be meaningful? The point i'm trying to make above is that." TL;DR: Skarner's kit is outdated and out of place, and as it is, it offers not much options for tweaks. This scares off potential players, and alienates his older payerbase, and this increases as new releases happen, leading to having consistently the smallest playerbase of the roster over several seasons (important to keep in mind when thinking about skarner not getting a skin for more than 4.5 years). Sharing traits of both vanguards and juggernauts may now keep him from having a consistent/appealing gameplay. Conclusion: a VGU could finally set a solid direction for skarner, leaving behind the less popular tank build, and allowing him to achieve his original fantasy of inescapable predator, while having an up to date and appealing kit, with tools to fare in the newer game scenarios, to fall back, and skill expression, which he lacks. Live E is a good example of this: it requires skill to land and follow up, but it rewards good execution. - He currently doesn't fulfill his fantasy at being a giant crystal scorpion. As he is right now, Skarner's kit doesn't really reflect the feeling of playing as a giant scorpion, except for proccing the stun and crit animations. There are some cool scorpion moves that his kit should execute: his massive claws actually grasping at someone, or shielding skaner; his massive tail slamming on the enemies; his venom actually having effects over time; shedding; sensing the environment around him; just to name a few. Crystal magic also could be so much more part of Skarner's gameplay, as right now it doesn't look like the case: except for the faulty spire passive, and his W, Skarner doesn't feel as connected to his gemstone as he is in the lore, and crystals are more of an eyecandy, than anything else. We don't really know the possibilities that this interaction between skarner and his crystal can achieve, and how skarner can manipulate its magic. There's so much more the crystals could be for skarner: skarner may create walls, or use them as an extension of his attacks (think of crystal wristblades), into him spawning crystals near him and making his crystal domain, just to name a few. Possibilities are endless! Conclusion: The VGU should address these thematic leakages, and making skarner more of an actual giant scorpion that uses crystal magic as a major tool to achieve his goals. Let me know what do you think of this, thank you. [link] [comments]

Posted: 17 Nov 2019 08:30 AM PST Tl;dr: click here and play with the filters at the bottom! (Reposting because the first thread was accidentally removed) For the past 5 years on Leaguepedia we've tracked offseason changes on pages like this one, including a list of rumors and their statuses so you can see what was confirmed, what was disproven etc. Until this year, this was all just hard-coded onto each individual page, but this year I rewrote all of the code from scratch and we have a database now, which means you can do custom queries!! Here's the link filtered to just Europe, which is the same as what you see on the page above. But we can also modify it, for example here's a query of European rumors, but only if the player is rumored to be changing regions in the offseason. And you can also do filters based on who broke the story, for example here's only rumors from Jacob Wolf (screenshot) I also give you a custom "where" field where you can for the most part write any SQL query you want, there aren't docs but i show you what the condition is for every query you run, so you should be able to figure it out (and if you have any questions let me know in the comments here I'm happy to help (especially if you wanted to write docs ^^)) If there's anything else you'd like to see or any feedback let me know! And, if you want to help us with our tracking you can always tweet at @TheLeaguepedia or join our Discord at https://discord.gg/6SNQ4c6, or just edit the wiki yourself! [link] [comments]
I designed a fully custom TFT set. Posted: 17 Nov 2019 10:08 AM PST *Champion Lineup: Champions *Cheat Sheet:Synergies *Full info: Set info As soon as Riot announced they were just making more sets rather than continuously updating or swapping out the original, the doors were open. This is a fully functional custom set. The full info page goes over literally everything involved with a set including full champ stats. That being said I understand that most people don't care so for your ease of use there's a full champion layout and synergy/item cheat sheet available. The main goal of the set was to allow for more skill expression. One of the biggest things I'd like to see improved about the current iteration of the game is that the only time serious position swapping happens early game is after the elemental hexes are introduced. So to counter that, the main mechanic has the players battling against each other each round. Players will compete for powerful buffs each round however if too many players try to take advantage of the buffs they instead turn to back breaking debuffs. More of the hex spawn throughout the game but rather than stacking the buff they instead just make it harder to avoid using them further pushing positioning skill. A key note is that half the players rounded up get the buff which is most relevant when you get to 2/3 players remaining. Three players allows two players to yield the buff causing an extremely complicated strategic scenario. Two players no longer play the game, since they can both have the buff and at that point have to fully worry about positioning against their only remaining opponent. This is fully custom and with the exceptions of the skins fully recreated to the best of my ability. (As it turns out the card overlay renders are not available readily, shocker.) I've been drafting MTG for about 10 years and designing escape rooms for the last two so this type of design is right up my alley. There was a tremendous amount of research done into both TFT sets currently live and other similar auto chess variants. The numbers given in the full data sheet are based off live numbers when applicable. Many synergies that were completely new or hadn't had a relevant synergy comparison were number crunched to theoretically be balanced. The awkward part about having all of this on paper is that I can't further balance it since I can't see how some things work in practice. I would love to talk about any questions about the set. I truly do love TFT and its gameplay. And hope to be able to be part of the team that makes it at some point. Enjoy P.S. I have some ideas about a spectator mode ;) [link] [comments]
Cuzz and Naehyun leave DragonX Posted: 17 Nov 2019 12:05 PM PST https://twitter.com/DRXGlobal/status/1195992061691879424 The last year Kingzone roster is left with only Rascal and Deft. Leveling experience is so good Posted: 17 Nov 2019 12:14 PM PST Last time I made new account was in season 3 and it was a nightmare. I've decided to make new account to level it up before season 10 starts and leveling missions and rewards are soo motivating. On level 9 I already have few champs from missions, 10k BE and 7 champion shards. Comparing it to how hard it used to be for new players to get these 16 champions to play ranked on lvl 30 back in early seasons. [link] [comments]
When Garen executes Kayle with ult, isn't it Kayle just killing herself? Posted: 17 Nov 2019 12:52 PM PST smh why would kayle ever do such a thing. it's not the correct way to win the game kayle. i remember hearing that garen ult is not him doing magic damage but kayle answering his prayers.
