Do people genuinely not understand bashing their teammates is completely counter productive to winning games, or what?

    Posted: 10 Aug 2020 10:26 PM PDT

It's happened to all of us. Your bot lane is a combined 1-9, the other team's mid is seemingly perma roaming but still ahead of yours in cs, you've been ganked 4 times and your jg is busy having a tea party with the scuttle crab, or your top loses first turret before a single plate is gone in any other lane. It absolutely sucks.

But do the many, MANY people who can't seem to deal with a teammate having a bad game on without commenting on it actually think their helping? Do you really believe that player is completely unaware they're playing horribly, and that by dropping 'X gap' in all chat is going to give them some epiphany and they'll play better? That going off about 'X diff' is going to cause them to magically transform into a better player?

    You're going to tilt them.

Virtually any comprehensive advice/guide to climbing I've seen tells players if they're tilted to walk away from the game for a while. Why? Because the vast majority of players perform worse when tilted.

So these players who are uncontrollably pissed off because a teammate is lowering their chances of winning, are then responding by taking the actions that directly lower their chances of winning, which is exactly what they're mad someone else is doing.

I can somewhat understand it post game, when it's all said and done, although i would argue that still points to emotional control issues. But people are doing this 7 minutes into the game. Nothing is decided at 7 minutes, especially in lower elos. But people in my games are regularly investing their energy into making it more likely they will lose doing this nonsense. As a chronic procrastinator i can assure you NOT doing things is much easier than actually doing things. So why in the blue hell are people putting effort towards losing, if losing is what's upsetting them?

    Seriously, what's going on here?

Do people actually lack the understanding that negatively impacting your teammates is negatively impacting their odds of winning?

Is being a douche really so satisfying it's perferable to winning?

Or is this community lacking in emotional stability/control to the point that the effort it takes to not trash their teammates will cause them to have an aneurism?

    I don't get it....

In Nexus Blitz, Sett players should have gotten their own spectators box during prize fight!

    Posted: 11 Aug 2020 11:05 AM PDT

C'mon! The announcer even says, "Prize fight, time to impress the boss." He could have gotten his own chair and services to accommodate him.

And when its time for him to duel, he could have just left his chair, leaving it empty.

Even Draven could have also had his own spectator box across from Sett, and both of them could have been given completely different themes.

You can't see Veigar's passive stacks anymore.

    Posted: 11 Aug 2020 12:29 PM PDT

Before this patch (im pretty sure) you were able to see the amount of passive stacks the had when you clicked on him. Just now I noticed that I wasn't able to see his passive stacks anymore.

I checked the patchnotes to see if it got mentioned or something, but it wasn't.
Seems like a bug to me.

PStar Zilean has reached 1000+ LPs with 89% WR

    https://euw.op.gg/summoner/userName=Tigriuk%C3%A9 that's 116w for 15l at the moment, sitting a 1011 LPs in Challenger.

I know he's playing duo bot but that's still extremely impressive in my opinion.

Also considering the fact that he only played relatively off meta champs (Draven, Karthus bot and Veigar), it really blows my mind.

    Toxicity behind Korean League Communities

    Toxicity behind Korean League Communities

As many of you know, Korean League teams such as T1 has posted an official statement on enforcing the law against hate speech towards their teams. Regarding T1's case, it seems that there is a misconception in reddit and other foreign league communities that this move was because Faker just got benched and his fans were throwing hate speeches towards the team and its members. Although this is true to some degree, you have to know that the main reason why the teams chose to take action is because of the toxic mess the Korean league community has become. Just to show you an example, I will post the first page of Korea's biggest lol community, dcinside, which is equivalent to the "hot" thread on reddit.

    https://preview.redd.it/edpup6kckbg51.png?width=851&format=png&auto=webp&s=f6cfa9d780b5e55f5a30a7a170d474d13682905c

just from the posts in this picture, 6~7 of them are dedicated to bashing T1 fans, DRX fans, or just the team itself and their players. The comment sections are even worse; some threads are entirely filled up with hate speeches. The players are not even called by their own names. For example, the most common phrase in this community used to call Faker is dogshit teardrop (translated) , because they want to make fun of him for crying during the 2017 Worlds final. Chovy is called 080 to make fun of his mid Camille game that he went 080, and T1 is called 1557 to make fun of the game that T1 lost against IG in 15:57 minutes. These names are not used in a joking sense at all, but to genuinely make the players and the team feel bad.

I just wanted the members of the reddit community to know that the reason why teams including T1 took legal action is because the current Korean community is plagued with insults and mockery, not only because Faker was benched or something small as that. I really hope the Korean league community changes in the future now that teams have decided to take legal action.

Why can't we change the game language easily?

    Posted: 11 Aug 2020 08:44 AM PDT

    Just... Why?

Is that so hard to make a setting to change the language?

I really like the dubbing in English, but I can't change this on the league client. Why?

(I know that there's ways to change the game language, but would be better if we could change it on the client)

Now that we got Yone, Senna and Kai'Sa, what other characters from LoL lore are you hoping to see?

    Posted: 11 Aug 2020 06:19 AM PDT

I saw a post asking about seeing other characters from LoR, but how about the lore itself? Who would you want to see pop up in the future? ASol's brothers? Kog'Maw's daddy? Maybe Kat's dad? The 3rd of the Noxus triumvirate? I personally want The Ruined King in a game. And i hope his kit somehow synergizes with his item.
