PSA: If you ask for someone to swap role and they let you, don't then flame them for playing poorly

    Posted: 09 Dec 2019 06:09 AM PST

Just played a game where I was assigned mid and the jungler asked for mid. I let them mid because it doesn't bother me most of the time. What bothers me is when you swap roles with whoever, then flame that person that swapped with you the ENTIRE game because they didn't play absolutely perfectly. The person I swapped with flamed me before I had even gotten to my 2nd buff because I wasn't perma ganking their lane.

Just, if you swap roles with someone, don't expect them to play perfectly because chances are; they're not comfortable on that role and were just being nice.

EDIT: Yes I know flaming in general is bad, but it's par for the course to expect people to flame for whatever reason, for the most part it doesn't bother me that much. It's this specific scenario that really gets me. I don't need 50 more comments saying the exact same thing thanks.

16 Teams with a lot of pros/ex-pros and streamers, seems like this is going to be the must competitive tournament in NA this year.

If you're playing cait, please just leash from a bush.

    Posted: 09 Dec 2019 05:14 AM PST

Your passive applies double stacks from the brush and it lets you get headshot twice as fast making the leash way more efficient. It irks me seeing so many caits leashing outside the brush

LS no longer participating in TCS

    Posted: 09 Dec 2019 04:10 AM PST

LS has just tweeted out he and his team will no longer be participating in TCS due to Visa issues with one of the players and others not wanting to separate after being offered to play in Canada and Mexico. He will instead be participating in a Korean tournament with his team.

    Was Nexus Blitz fun?

    Posted: 09 Dec 2019 10:54 AM PST

I literally had the best times ever during Nexus Blitz. But then Riot decided to not make it permanent and make tft instead. What a waste of a good game mode and a waste in general. They published an article about Nexus Blitz around the end before they took it out.

    /dev: Nexus Blitz Wrap-up

I really lost hope for the game after they removed this game mode. It was genuinely very fun to play. You get events every so often to keep the game from a stale 5v5. It forces players to adapt constantly. Farming one second, running in total darkness towards pings the next second. Teamfigthing one second, chasing a moneybag the next second.

The increased gold gain meant that every champion in the game was viable. It isn't about picking early champs and win the early events to gain a snowball advantage. Every champion in the game around the third event will have their power spikes up.

If this was 5 years ago, I would read the article and agree with everything that is on it with little to no doubt at all. But this is present-day Riot. I just can't bring myself to agree to their philosophy of 'The game mode causes players to quit over time'. It's so damn biased and one-sided.

They compare how tft is sustaining better than all other game modes they released and that they made the right choice. TFT has a dedicated team upon release with patch notes and bug fixes left and right. It has a ranked queue that allows people who were good at the mode, to continue playing it with a goal in mind.

No other game modes ever had this special treatment

Keep that in mind when you think other game modes were bad. They were never made to last in the first place. Riot makes them so that they are literally strapped with a bomb on them, detonating after a short while due to negligence.

TFT on the other hand, was made with the intention to keep the game mode alive. This is just not fair at all.

Here is my question. Did you guys enjoy Nexus Blitz? Did it really lose its fun factor and make you quit?

    "Jungle phase is over"

    Posted: 09 Dec 2019 11:48 AM PST

The legend lives on. Just played with a Yi who sold his jungling items. When asked about it by the MF, he said "Well we're past jungle phase". I've seen a lot of shit, but I thought this was just a meme. It's not. It's real. It's a whole new world down here. I'll continue my journey downwards, I wonder what spectacles I'll discover.

Hide Eye Candy should remove the pink flowers from brushes during the Ocean Drake map overlay.

    Posted: 09 Dec 2019 04:41 AM PST

Those pink flowers in the brushes only adds another layer of obstruction that comes with the Ocean Drake overlay, at least for me and my friends when i asked them. Did you know that the game prioritizes vision of those pink flowers OVER champions while in the brush? Insane, i know.

PS: Also, an option to disable the lighting theme from all Elemental Drake overlays would be awesome. We can only benefit from it.

I get that EUW Clash had problems, but can the notification about it at least be voluntary?

    Posted: 09 Dec 2019 05:33 AM PST

Title. The notification regarding Clash on EUW constantly pops up in the client and it even pops up during champion select regular games. I get that there are problems, that's a whole other issue. But the constant pop up annoys me more than the clash problems themselves.

Fun Fact: For the price of every skin combined, you can almost buy the Leather Biker Jacket and a pair of shoes from the LVxLOL collection.

    Posted: 09 Dec 2019 01:05 PM PST

After adding the RP costs of every skin ever available for purchase (not including skins that require special currency such as Prestige skins and Hextech skins) and then converting the RP to USD at the best rate (15000 RP = $100), the total comes out to about $6500 USD. I'm not going to put all the math here, but you are free to try it yourself. I used the prices listed on Mobafire's skin database.

Meanwhile, the price of the LVxLOL Leather Biker Jacket and the LVxLOL LV Beauborg Platform Derby shoes totals out to $6710 USD.

So for the same price of every skin, you still come $200 short of fitting yourself with a jacket and some shoes.

    No pants included.

Had an.. interesting Caitlyn bug last game

    Posted: 08 Dec 2019 09:55 PM PST

So I had a bug where after Tahm Kench ate me my whole model turned invis and I just sorta became a gun. A floating gun for the whole game. Some fun pictures here. This wasn't only for me by the way, I was invis for my team and also the enemy team. So sorta game breaking.
