| Roster Rumors and Leaks rule changes Posted: 26 Dec 2019 01:09 PM PST Hey everyone, coming to yall with a rule change regarding rumors and leaks for esports. Roster rumors/leaks will now be allowed on the subreddit with the following limitations
The first change is done to allow Esports rumor posts from sites that put their reputation on the line when they post this kind of content, and to prevent twitter users making uninformed statements from being posted. The second change is done to reduce post redundancy, a post about a rumored changed does not need to be on the front page at the same time as a post about the confirmation/denial of a change. | So I just played against a Heimerdinger with more than 10 MILLION Mastery points. Posted: 26 Dec 2019 06:05 AM PST Apparently he has the most Heimer Master Points world wide. He is lvl 658 and played 425 Heimer games in this preseason alone. Currently he sits in Silver 4 in SoloQ. I was playing top vs him, he was running Heal and TP as summoner spells, as well as Grasp of the undying.I thought maybe this is some next lvl heimer strat, but then again, when you have so many mastery points and are still in this elo something must be going wrong. He played the laning phase god awfully, spammed his abilities until he was oom and then went back to base. I was outfarming him by a lot but because of his turrets I couldn't really push him in and he was playing really safe so sadly I couldn't do much. Meanwhile his Lucian midlane, who seems to be boosting him, was completetly destroying my mid and jgl and we lost the game in 20min. This was really tilting and frustrating at first, my previous games had been shit and now this happened. But then the Heimer guy linked his stream in the post game lobby and it appears that he is some 60(?) year old guy who is just chilling and playing the game. So yeah that's pretty cool. It's really crazy what kind of people you find playing this game. I mean 10 Million mastery points, that has the be a world record, right? I have never heard of a person who has more points on any champion. Also I don't know about the condition of this man, but it boggles my mind how you can play so many games and still be that bad (no hate), play with wrong spells and runes etc. Anyways, I was just blown away by this. Posted: 26 Dec 2019 07:25 AM PST We have all sort of "ailments to inflict to people to decide to focus armor heavy tanks: Reflected damage, grevious wounds, AS redution, crit mitigation. etc. Armor/hp items come in all sorts of flavors that let us build according to the situation and generally put a big flag up on the tank's head saying "dont focus this fucker" We have nothing alike for MR. Yes, Adaptive helm is great and coud be called the MR randuin. But no other MR tank item does something similar! I understand MR items cant have a branch where they give mana instead of health because that would mean Ryze is basically Jesus on steroids. But we could have a little more variety. What about a close quarters magic damage mitigation item? "magic damage received from champions closer than 300 units is reduced by X%" "Abilities that deal magic damage to you and no other champion have their cooldown increased by X" MR itemization actually sucks because it is not interesting, adn the best anti mage tank in the rift is Mundo so that is not helping to rise the popularityy of these items. The variety is low and there are no interesting effects besides Adaptive helm on the tank options. Ad, support and ap options have some interesting concepts, and i will recognize that as a job well done on Rito's part. [link] [comments] | ||
| Stoneplate on Pyke gives him 100+ ad after lvl 11 Posted: 26 Dec 2019 09:54 AM PST Pyke has a strange interaction with Stoneplate, when he activates it at lvl 11 with 3+ enemy champs around, he gets 100 bonus ad (without supp item), and at lvl 18 the bonus ad is 152. Stoneplate active does decrease his damage, but it doesnt lower his ult execute damage (since those are executes, duh), but it increases his ult threshhold by more than any other item in the game. Some of the neon green outlines are more visible, a lot of the dragon has been shaded in to make it more appear more solid, and the entire picture has been sharpened from what I snipped from the video. | How does Dr. Mundo not have a Doctor Skin? Posted: 26 Dec 2019 06:20 AM PST I was going through Mundo's skins earlier and thought to myself: "Why did they never give him a proper skin, where looks like an actual doctor?" Did they ever consider doing so, if there is any information about that? I can surely not be the first person to think of this, as it seems like a pretty straight forward concept. Could be called Dr. Dr. Mundo or something. Edit: A lot of people are saying that his base skin is a doctor and I can understand where it is coming from, so I think I need to elaborate on what I was trying to say. Of course the base skin has a few features a doctor would have but honestly he is just a madman that slaughters people with a meat cleaver and calls himself Dr. Mundo. I would like to see a more literal approach of the doctor theme, as in medical doctor, although there are some other cool ideas in the comments that would also make sense.
