Posted: 12 Dec 2019 05:30 AM PST I'm actually NOT clicking on these videos cos it pisses me off giving these people views when I just want to watch a cool guy or gal just chilling playing a new champion. Maybe the title of the video can be "New Champion - First Impressions" plus any extra non-screaming OTT wording that you want to throw in to get peoples search result have your video in. Is it so hard? It's hilariously ironic that I will not click on a clickbait title simply for the title. If anyone knows a YouTuber who doesn't scream bullshit in the title who likes to show PBE content, please let me know :) P.S. Bonus fuck-off-I'm-not-clicking-your-video points if you use words like "ACTUALLY" or "LITERALLY" when it's neither actual or literal and the champ is just as normal on PBE release as any other champion. EDIT: Just want to clarify I don't hate any of these YouTubers and think they're bad etc. Just trying to do my part in opening some eyes EDIT: This has been a really interesting result and never expected a turnout like this. Plenty agreeing, plenty calling me an idiot, plenty giving me great suggestions. The way I see this is that there are a least 6.8k (at time of writing) that have said they agree and seems to still be a rising number. I completely get that the current state is that to get out there, you kinda have to make these titles. But the idea of this post is to discover a way to break this or at least create a realisation that actually there are a lot of people that agree. Imagine if you could get all your current viewers, plus these 6.8k (and ofc many more that don't read reddit/have accounts etc). Its a possibility is all in saying. Fake news style titles are ugly and an exhausting strategy (from a viewers PoV) hopefully this'll soon change :) Thank you all! [link] [comments]
I'm more excited about Sett than I have been for 2019 champion releases for my actual role Posted: 12 Dec 2019 08:16 AM PST I love Sett. He reminds me of old school League champion releases. No 10 paragraphs of ability descriptions. No 2 dashes, invisibility, reset execute, revive, copying ultimates etc etc and definitely no full length essay prior to release to explain all the abilities. Just a dude who punches things. It's so refreshing. When I see Sett, I understand what is happening right away and many of his abilities provide explosive moments to watch. I'm a support main and don't play top lane, but damn, I hope Sett can be flexed into support somehow because I really just want to play this guy. More simple champion releases like this. I wish riot had made 'Nexus Blitz' return this Christmas Posted: 12 Dec 2019 01:13 PM PST Honestly i am a bit disappointed that we got Poro King over Nexus Blitz this year. I've always had an absolutely fantastic time whenever nexus blitz came up and it really would have been the icing on the cake for me and many others to have seen this game mode return this year rather than the essentially ARAM with a twist Poro King. I changed Setts Colors to match the splash Posted: 12 Dec 2019 10:08 AM PST Hey guys, I wanted to share my color rebalances for Sett. After seeing his model and his lore and personality I felt like his in game colors were a bit too bright for this hard hitting badass. You may or may not agree with the edit and thats fine, as riot does use atmosphere and lighting to make splash arts look nice. This is just my take on the visuals presented. [link] [comments]

I love the new skins but holy moly its hard to tell what champ you are acctually looking at. Posted: 11 Dec 2019 11:13 PM PST The new skins Riot has been bringing out are beyond amazing. But it is hard to imagine not seeing most of them being banned in competitive league. Best example for that would be Sett. If you look at his default skin and then look at the mecha version, you wont be able to tell its supposed to be Sett, if you dont know. Edit: Some people seem to missunderstand my problem. Its not that i will play a 40 minute game and be like: oh boy is that a new champ i am playing aiganst? The problem is that you need to make splitsecond decisions in league. And having to ask yourself even for 0,1 seconds who just came out of the fog of war to flank or who just walked out of that brush, can make or break a play. That also goes for animations. A lot of people had that problem with TD Ekkos W. [link] [comments]
Skin Concept: Dragon Queen rek'sai Posted: 12 Dec 2019 09:59 AM PST So, rek'sai, huh? Anyway, long story short, Dragon Queen Rek'sai Not a full-on Splashart or even in-game concept this time around. Just some quick artwork with Chromas and some ability ideas. [link] [comments]
Riot's revealing the first Riot Forge indie game during The Game Awards tonight Posted: 12 Dec 2019 09:52 AM PST Honestly, what an end of the year for Riot. After the recent unveiling of Riot Forge, Ghostcrawler slipped the info that we'd see the first new game on that partnership program revealed on thursday, 12/12. The Brazilian League page on Facebook just posted a story hinting that we should tune up to watch the VGA tonight. Sure League is running for eSport of the year, but the timing is just perfect for what we know so far. While projects A, F and L seem distant, an indie partnership being showcased today is likely closer to release then the games we became aware of in the 10 year aniversary stream. Personally, I'm hyped as fuck. Riot's on a roll with new League contents and media. Can't wait for the near future of indie games and side projects with the League IP, like Legends of Runeterra. Posted: 11 Dec 2019 09:31 PM PST For maths: right now, as of 12/12/2019, Xerath and Skarner sit with the longest time since their last skin, at a whopping 1691 days since their last skins, or a bit over 4 years and 7 months. given league was 2007 days old when the skins were released, the second we've hit 4014 days from launch, or October 23rd, 2020, Guardian of the sands Xerath and Guardian of the Sands Skarner will not only be the longest lasting latest skins for a champion, but have lasted longer as the latest skins for a champion than League of Legends had been out as a game for when said skins were released. The dawn of the final year was October 23rd, 2019. We now only have 316 days until they grow to an unparalleled strength. [link] [comments]
