    Aatrox is not weak, he's a strong , meta champion and easily in the top ten of top laners right now.

    Posted: 26 Jan 2020 07:27 AM PST

    Aatrox is pick or ban in proplay , yet this sub is convinced that he is "weak". What is worst is that they revise history to promote the narrative that old Aatrox was better, which is absurd. I guess people have forgotten that nobody played old Aatrox, especially in high elo.

    New Aatrox has a higher pick rate and he's also relevant in proplay. He's not weak, get over it. Winrates don't mean anything, or else champions like Ryze and Akali would be in need of buffs since they both have low winrates.

    Senna Ad carry has a 52.7% winrate, 12.4% pick rate and 20.9% ban rate

    Posted: 26 Jan 2020 11:51 AM PST

    I bring this up because Crumbz just mentioned her winrate wasnt high so shes balanced on the desk.

    The fact is that Senna's "50%" winrate is because support Senna has 48% winrate and that brings the 52.7% winrate of Senna ADC down to "50%"

    Senna isn't balanced and also her overall pickrate is 23.2% being pretty evenly split between adc and support https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/senna/adc

    Ranged tops aren't that big of a problem. It's the ranged tops that outscale into a massive lategame.

    Posted: 26 Jan 2020 10:02 AM PST

    An early game lane bully that scales into a hypercarry late game is one of the worst things to ever play against. Especially in a meta that revolves around ignoring top as much as possible in favour of the new powerful dragon souls. Personally I feel they aren't even all that strong and snowballing your already stronger players further is far more important as a jungler but there's very little you can do when one of your players is auto deleted or feeding because they'er too impatient to wait out the top lane matchup (which they're getting outscaled in anyways if they dared to play a melee.)

    We need champion hotbars back on the LCS broadcast

    Posted: 26 Jan 2020 01:42 PM PST

    The bottom left of the screen used to show the currently focused champion's hotbar, but it's now been covered by sponsors.

    It's really not okay that I have to sit here guessing how many stacks Senna has on her passive or how many Dark Harvest stacks Zoe has. I understand that Pro View exists, but to withhold information that's pretty crucial to the game behind a paywall is kind of unacceptable imo.

    After being stomped hard in all lanes except top, we win the game off this.

    Posted: 26 Jan 2020 10:35 AM PST

    Diana is sitting at about a 55% winrate and no one seems to be talking about it.

    Posted: 26 Jan 2020 03:30 PM PST

    Source.

    You'll also notice that assassins make up something like 7 of the top 8 most popular midlaners, with the only non-assassin being Yasuo.

    Really, I think midlane has been in too strong of a trend of removing mages and adding more and more assassins:

    • Karthus was deleted from the lane;
    • Akali was reworked back into a midlane assassin but had her pre-6 weakness removed;
    • Qiyana was released, and has the same 1-shot burst as most assassins but now does so while hard-CC'ing you;
    • Ekko was buffed ~3x in a row and one-shots mages if he touches them once while being unpunishable because he ults out if he fucks up;
    • Pyke was released and he solokills midlane mages easily -- or E's out back to stealth for free if he fails;
    • Diana's only weakness (abusable pre-6) was removed so now she's another mobile matchup that bullies the mages that used to bully her;
    • Doran's Shield was buffed, and now many assassins start Doran's shield and their health regen actually outlasts the mana bar of immobile mages, so you can't kill them even with near-perfect accuracy -- which is disproportionately difficult given how mobile these champions are.

    The most frustrating thing about this for me is that classic mages - Xerath, Vel'Koz, Anivia, Zilean, Karthus, Brand, Ziggs, etc. -- none of them are allowed to be talked about without EXCUSE ME WHAT ABOUT SYNDRA? WHAT ABOUT SYNDRA HUH??? SHE'S STRONG

    In other words, Syndra is a gatekeeper on all of the classic immobile mages. Their weakness to the mobility/assassin creep isn't allowed to be talked about just because she'll be used as a go-to "nope mages are fine" example.

    Lastly, you'll notice that many of the best performing assassins are AP assassins - so reddit cries for nerfs to AP items, and mages are sitting here barely clinging to viability while being told their items are going to be nerfed.

    Wish there was a way to select NOT JUNGLE

    Posted: 25 Jan 2020 11:21 PM PST

    I hate what Riot has done to jungle the last seasons and hate the lack of diversity in viable jungle champs. I feel like I get auto-filled jungle about every 5th game or so. I put it in the survey every year that RIOT puts out. What would you change about the game? Jungle diversity, especially in professional play. Never anything.

    I'd happily wait 5 minutes in queue each game to just not jungle, so wish riot had the option to queue longer to not have to jungle.

    If Rumble uses a Harpoon while he is at 90 heat there is a small window where you can still use Q or W before he overheats takes effect

    Posted: 26 Jan 2020 01:56 PM PST

    After some practice this can be done consistently and allows him to use Q, W, and 2 Es from 70 heat. I doubt this is intended but after I started playing him again this season I noticed that there is a delay on overheat activation when you use his E while you are at 90 heat and I believe it is because this is the only ability of his that has an animation lock. Q and W immediately generate heat unlike E so you can only use one of them in this way but this allows Rumble sit at 70 heat while still being able to use all abilities which is actually a massive difference when playing around overheat.

    REMINDER: It's been over 10 years, and Mac users still cannot copy, paste, and select all in chat

    Posted: 26 Jan 2020 04:40 PM PST

    I know we mac users make up a smaller portion of the community, but most of the time it's because we're casual gamers who need macs for our jobs, or it's just what we have on hand (graphic design/music production/it's not your computer/etc.)

    But I find it ridiculous that even after 10 years we still cannot use simple commands like [COMMAND] + A, [COMMAND] + C, or [COMMAND] + V in the in-game chat to do things like marking flash timers. Watching high elo players like DoinB who constantly keep the timers in the chat help the team immensely, and not being able to do that solely due to the operating system the player is using is ridiculous.

    DoinB using commands during Worlds (2019) to mark flash timers:

    Proof that this has been a problem for ages:

    In case you were curious, if you press [COMMAND] + A in the chat, it will not highlight anything and just type out an "a" instead, same with [COMMAND] + C which leaves a "c", and [COMMAND] + V which leaves a "v". I also personally play on MacOS Mojave 10.14.4 on a 2017 MacBook Air and it still does not work--the second most recently released Operating System (OS) from Apple.

    EDIT: Mac users can't use League Voice either, but thankfully there's a workaround in Mojave. Thanks to u/ReggaeRoland for figuring out how to do it (I personally did it like 20 minute ago--it still works to my knowledge)!
