    I know many of you are waiting for the details of the 2020 Mid-Season Invitational--and we are eager to share them. However, as countries around the world respond to COVID-19, aka the Corona-virus, we've had to adjust our plans and delay announcing the timing and location of MSI 2020. While we remain committed to making the event happen, the health and safety of players and fans comes first and foremost, with the integrity of the competition a close second.

    The Mid-Season Invitational is a showcase of the best teams in our sport, and our goal is to meet your expectations of a globally inclusive tournament that sees the participation of all our leagues. I want to thank our fans, teams, partners, and players for your patience while we continue planning the event. We will update you as soon as possible with any relevant new information.

    Bring back the counter-play to Illaoi's E

    I am an Illaoi main that truly loves to play her but also truly hates to play against her. Most of it comes from the power of her E. It's really just an unfair mechanic. Hit it and you're basically going to win every single trade or fight, or you're forcing your opponent to play a mini-game called "Dodge the tentacles for 10 seconds".

    A few patches ago you could lower the duration of the spirit from Illaoi's E by damaging Illaoi, thus giving you direct counter-play outside of managing to dodge it (which by the way is insanely hard if you're playing a champion with a large hit box like a tank).

    However, it used to get a lowered duration from every single tick of damage which meant that any kind of DoT-effect just destroyed Illaoi which isn't very fun for the Illaoi player.

    "Oh, my opponent picked Rumble, it seems like I won't be playing League today!"

    Therefore I suggest some sort of middle-ground: any damage up to once per second will lower the duration of the spirit by a second.

    That would make the E have equal counter-play for any kind of opponent as they all would be able to deal some sort of damage at least once per second.

    If such a change would leave Illaoi too weak I propose buffs to her Q (a quicker cast animation would be great), or a lowered cooldown on her passive or maybe have her Tentacles have three HP against ranged attacks to compensate. (I'm just throwing some thoughts out there.)

    TL;DR:

    The E is too strong and extremely unfun to play against, nerf it and buff other parts of her kit.

    Qiyana R hitbox is visually deceptive and needs to be fixed

    I am a frequent player of qiyana as well as other assassins in this meta. However, when playing as qiyana and against qiyana the r hitbox on walls seems to have considerable extra distance from the wall than it visually seems. I believe this is a super easy fix for the team at riot and I just wanted to speak on behalf of a lot of midlaners who struggle with this. I feel as though everyone has had their fair share of being hit by a qiyana ult they definitely thought they were out of the way of. Again this is not a request for a nerf as I believe the champion is relatively balanced and has strengths and weaknesses to her kit - I am just looking for a more visually acceptable way to make it fair for both teams on her ultimate.

    BUG: Killing Mordekaiser in his Ult with a Shaco-Clone doubles Shutdown-Gold and grants a Double Kill

    So apparently if you get a kill on Mordekaiser in his Ult with a Clone you get double the Shutdown-Gold and a Double Kill.

    I tried to recreate this and wasn't able to, granted Morde and Shaco didn't have the same Build and Stats like in this Clip.

    I had the idea for this in the morning and after 3 hours of work I finished it. I know that Jinx is higher quality than Jhin but I didn't want to remake Jhin after finishing Jinx so I let it be like it is. I did this entirely in MS Paint and mostly by hand too (no line tools, etc.). I obviously used references but that's it. Hope you enjoy!

    Riot's Events team must be in a full panic right now

    There is so much going on around the world and one position i am happy i am not in at the moment would be the hand being dealt to Riot Games event teams. Lets just go through the list below...

    1. All of China's pro events are shut down until April 30th, just days/weeks before MSI starts. This definitely problem number one as there is no certainty that LPL will even start by the 30th, that date may get more delayed, nor can they finish by the start of MSI. Not to mention Airlines/Countries still may not allow any Flights out of China by the time MSI starts.

    2. Corona Virus is on the rise in Korea. We have already seen LCK take a no audience rule to try and stop the Coronavirus but with some worries popping up here and there close to LCK and Korea as a whole seeing corona grow there is no saying what could happen with the LCK or korea itself. We could be in a world 2 months from now that would have Korea in a similar position as china, which could take LCK out of the race.

    3. There have been 0 Announcements for MSI location or Date it'll take place. We are less than 3 months away from MSI and unless my research failed me we do not have any information on it at all. I can not find any article linking to a date for the tournament or which regions are hosting it. For Reference Riot announced the 2019 location in january 2019. You have to imagine the team are trying to get ready to make an announcement so tickets can go on sale soon for people to buy/plan accordingly.

    4. Worlds is scheduled to be in China this year. There is a chance in 6 months Coronavirus will not be an issue like it is now but with an event like worlds there is a lot of investment in time to plan/book arenas and stadiums to play in. The longer Riot waits to see what china will be like in 6 months the harder it will be for them to have a backup plan for 2020 worlds... There is a chance right now the events team is also having to try and figure out if the best decision is to move worlds preemptively giving themselves all spring/summer to plan and book the event.

    Either way with all these things going on right now I can not imagine what life is like on the Riot event team...

    I wish Rotating Game Mode would come back

    I don't even know why there's not always a random fun mode enabled in the game. No one is forced to play it and it's always a welcome change to just having ARAM has a fun mode.

    According to the Wiki, there are 16 Fun Modes (not even counting variations like ARURF, normal URF etc.) so it's not as if it would become too repetitive.
