    I thought it would be fixed since the game was new but now it's been a while and your tft rank still shows up in LoL queues? same for customs? It makes no sense to not keep your respective rank for respective queues

    My boy Urgot deserves a break

    First up, his lore. Dude's been betrayed, emprisoned underground and tortured, slowly descending into madness. Add to that the perpetual sniffing and huffing of chemicals, it did not take long for him to start mutilating himself, replacing parts of his body with junk he found lying around. Dante's interpretation of hell fades in comparison.

    Next, his kit. While his rework was the best thing that happened to him, the decision to ether classify him as ranged or melee was never made, leaving him awkwardly between the two. I mean he's already a complete nutter, giving him an existential crisis on top of that does not seem fair.

    Then came the fateful date of 11/12/2019, and along with it, the cursed patch of 9.24. This is a straight follow up on the melee/ranged hiatus. Urgot, once Urgod, would now proc conqueror as a ranged champion, gutting the healing he'd get from it by half. Are you really going to tell him that he's not worthy enough for the king of all runes ?

    Already all bruised up, mentally broken and barely relevant, he had yet to face another grievance : the warriors cinematic of 2020. Seeing this absolute unit of a crab, get punked by a gauntless Vi (which she just dropped to dodge his ult by the way, pretty illegal coming from a law enforcement character) really put a nail to his coffin.

    And lastly, according to the 10.5 patch preview, even bricks and plates will dare stand up to him now, as he's going to deal 20% less damage to it. I mean, at that point, only some proper grave digging from Yorick would rescue the poor bastard.

    My man needs some me-time right now (or a buff), he's just been slapped left and right lately.

    Hello all! I already posted this on the Akalimains subreddit but I thought i'd post it here as well! After a long hiatus i finally decided to sit down and just finish her kit so I could release her, and that's what I did today. Her ultimate lacks a bit of polish but overall it functions as you would expect from league, minus the new dumb targetted mechanic.

    As a recap of my previous posts on Akalimains: I ripped all of akali's sounds / models / anims / particles and recreated / recoded everything as a mod in risk of rain 2. I coded her basic attacks, her passive empowered attack, her Q, her W, and her ultimate all finished with SFX, VFX, and full functionality. Obviously the particles arent exactly as they are in league as the game is made in unity and i had to recreate them from scratch.

    Notes:

    • Aphelios: Slowly but surely getting knocked down.

    • Aurelion Sol: Ouch. Direct nerfs, plus he's probably the champion most affected by the slow-resistance stacking change. A big hit for the 17 people that play him.

    • Rammus: Ok. ⇗ Good.

    • Sona: It's a bit hard to get a read on this one, but it looks like Sona top is as good as gone for now. Sitting at 61% pre-hotfix, she's fallen a whopping 7% already, which means her real WR must be a good bit below that. Also worth noting she has buffs pending on the PBE, which supports that idea.

    • Soraka: Soraka top is gone? Oh no. That's so upsetting. Can't you tell how much she'll be missed?

    • Talon Jungle: Don't do it boys... it's not worth it.

    • Zed Jungle: See: Talon, but somehow even worse.

    • Akali: Her WR is about as stable as my teammates' mental state in solo queue. Not even going to try to conjecture anymore.

    • Dr. Mundo: No direct nerfs, but much like ASol, really feels the slow resistance stacking changes more than most champions. Also one of the only tanks unable to utilize the Sunfire buffs.

    • Ornn: 52% WR, 15% PR. Nothing wrong here. Cinderhulk changes were just what Ornn needed to finally make him viable.

    • Sett: Can't keep the anime villain down for long. One patch after his nerfs, he's back up into the mid-50's in the jungle. Assuming some combination of increasing skill and Cinderhulk buffs.

    • Wukong: Nobody cares about this champion but he's my main and I'm upset. One day that rework will come. One day...

    I've had on and off issues with toxicity for years, and though I've been a stable rank 2 honor for a while now (im getting there) i can never fully never stop ever getting mad, and i realized now the game itself is not the issue: the other players are.

    Whether it's the ad carry who is feeding and even though we are mostly winning and are in a good position gives up and spams ff because he PERSONALLY isn't doing well, the top laner who keeps complaining in all chat about being camped despite them shoving 24/7 with no wards or looking at the mini map, to the support who feeds their ass off and just won't stop typing jng difference and being passive aggressive/blaming the ad for literally everything, even when they are doing well, to the jungler who gets outjungled hard and even in a winnable game won't fucking stop typing his short novel in all chat, to the mid laner who just forgets that the game outside of their lane exists and flames you for dying when their mid does, I just have never been a part of a gaming community that has so many absurdly irrational people on such a huge quantity that it makes me want to gauge my eyeballs out, and eventually makes me into one of those people sometimes out of pure tilt.

    I don't really have a point to this post other than to say i fucking love league of legends more than any other game I've ever played, but holy fuck sometimes i just wish different people played it.

    I've always dreamed of being a pro League player, but also knew that it was pretty unrealistic since I'm a boosted Plat 2 peak player (Pyke 1-trick, flame me later). Anyway, I joined a 5's team through one of my friends back in 2017, and we played in our first Amateur tournament...

    Only then did I realize just how much I love this game.

    Being in the best of 5 Finals after a long season of weekly matches, scrims, and practice, is without a doubt the best experience I've ever had playing this game. As a player, seeing my name on stream alongside the teammates I've spent so much time practicing with, and knowing that we're three wins away from a championship title, is perhaps the most exhilarating experience I've ever had gaming.

    Tournament play brings an entirely new aspect to this game, and I think more players should have the opportunity to know just how much of a rush it is. There are casters, cash prizes, and in some cases even scouting grounds opportunities. So, here's a list of several different orgs, ranging from single day tournaments, all the way up to several month long tournament seasons:
