    I got the legendary SHERIFF BUFORD in my ranked game and he is INSANE

    For those minority who don't know who SHERIFF BUFORD is, first of all I am disappointed, he is a renowned mundo one trick in every definition. He has played nothing but Mundo in the 6 years he played this game, he is ranked among the gods in terms of hours put in league, and plays in illustrious bronze- silver elo.

    Let me tell you, he is every bit as legendary as in the tales I would categorize him as a super Hashinshin. He takes heal and teleport sums and goes to town on the tower. He doesn't care if he dies, he aggressively pushes tower and makes his opponent dread coming to his lane. In our game we were greatly ahead and despite BUFORD being 1-4 he drew 4 people in his lane went 1v4 and SURVIVED. While everyone pushed inhibs. This guy is what every top laner wishes to be and can never become. He makes the enemy team wish they never clicked 'accept'.

    I think we should all strive to become like SHERIFF BUFORD, he is an inspiration to us all. He keeps grinding and does not let anyone get in his way to kill the nexus. His dedication to Mundo is unwavering and even though he may not have the best of winrates he has a big heart.

    As most people know, counterpicking is a big part of top lane, especially at higher elos. As a GM Kennen one trick aspiring to expand their champion, I decided that creating this list would help me pick top laners based on the situation. Here you guys go!     If you are first pick, I recommend blind picking Ornn, Aatrox, Mordekaiser, Sett, or a tank.

    Edit: First of all, thanks for all the attention to the post and the award! First one ever! Just to clarify some things, there are definitely counters that aren't on the list, I didn't bother to include all of them, I just wanted to provide a few per champion. And to be honest, originally I was creating this list for myself with my champion pool in mind, I only thought of making this a reddit post until after I finished, so that explains why my list is not incredibly diverse and revolves back around the same champions, (flora, GP, vayne, cassio).     For clarification: There's been a good amount of games where the early surrender vote has gotten to 4-1 which would mean no early surrender. But sometimes at 18-19 mark we vote 4-1 which would normally be a surrender and its close enough to 20 min but we gotta wait until the vote again which is somewhat demotivating and frustrating

    I think personally that once the 20 min mark hits the 3 minute (or whatever time in between forfeits) period between surrenders should be waved and you can vote again

    Just a small change and I'd love to hear what people think

    Bonus damage to monsters should only apply when you got Smite as summoner spell.

    Title.

    "x% bonus damage to monsters" is just a straight buff to champions and teamcomps overall and it's probably not intentional from Riot.

    I'm low Master player on EU West server and other than me trying stupid stuff I see no champion from "new jungle pool" being played in the jungle.

    It's not only problem with the champions that can leave the lane fast to farm the jungle (for example: Talon stealing enemy red buff or chickens).

    This bonus damage also applies to neutral monsters, so e.g. Darius, or botlane champions (with upcoming Zyra, and Brand changes) can take rift scuttlers, as well as Dragons, Rift Heralds and Baron Nashor - faster.

    So the punishment for leaving lane to farm jungle camps, as well as neutral camps is being smaller for the champions that got "bonus damage" which in my opinion is kinda unfair.

    Some champions just shouldn't have better possibilities for jungle farming and objectives taking from some random jungle % damage buff while being played in lane because Riot thought they might be good junglers.

    Although I appreciate expanding jungle pool as a jungle main, but with more changes every patch to "jungle champions" it might get out of control and those slight, hidden and unintended advantages isn't something I would like in the game.

    It also allows Riot to push jungle champion pool buffs even more, making some champions like Zed actually viable in the jungle without making it too extraordinary in the lane.

    It's not a big thing, I know, but we got things like half EXP from jungle camps without machete or talisman, so I think my idea is reasonable.

    btw. I know some abilites do bonus damage only to "non-epic monsters" but most of them do that to all monsters

    Sorry for any mistakes, I'm not the best English speaker. Discussion begins! :)

    So I tested this, and Darius' passive's bonus damage seems to work on everything, including Baron Nashor, Elder Dragon, Elemental Dragons.
    That's the biggest problem I think, its hidden power of taking big objectives faster compared to "standard" champions.

    Some thoughts:
    Pretty obvious, but bonus damage to monsters works with Raveonus Hunter, so champions who use this rune and have bonus damage to monsters buff can do jungle camps pretty heathly without having machete or talisman passive.
    Also, someone suggested binding the bonus damage to jungle item instead of Smite, so you can't take Smite to the lane without buying the item (it's obviously not so worth to buy the item on lane since the Monster Hunter debuff).
    I don't think this bonus damage is that powerful to sacriface whole summoner spell for that (till they add it for some hyper carry champion), but ye, that's something to consider I guess.

    For some reason people are suggesting that this will lead to smite top/mid meta.
    First of all, smite meta was built around jungle items that were more gold efficient compared to it's non-jungle counterparts as well as having that spicy dueling smite.
    Now there is so much wrong with it since we have Monster Hunter debuff, all of the funnel strats nerfs that it's not going to happen.
    Plus camps were respawning faster back then allowing more people to share them with jungler.
    The last thing I want to say about this - bonus damage is already happening, its hidden buff to laners right now, so if you think it's obnoxious right now, consider that they aren't even sacrifacing summoner spell for that before you type it will lead to smite meta.
    Noone is talking about big buffs that will change how the game works and I think expanding jungle pool is actually pretty nice idea since jungle meta in my opinion - is a bit boring.

    I also have a pretty nice idea in mind, let me know what you think in comments.
    So it's about making interactive camp that all champions have similar speed of completing.
    Like Rift Herald, you hit eye when it pops - you deal a lot of damage, only champions like Amumu with %health with his W makes it maybe a bit faster than others.
    That would help all champions that struggle with monsters at early levels, either it's AOE, or single target damage etc. problem, they actually would have a chance to make some money and survive early levels with that camp just hitting monster's eye, leg, arm, or ding dong for 30 seconds.
    Of course laners would get less EXP from this since they don't have machete or talisman.

    Why do we lose LP if Riot got problems with servers?

    So I was playing a ranked, we were winning when suddenly everybody in the game (either the enemies) got the ping over 20k. Enemy mid and adc got normal ping very fast while me, my top and enemy jungle got disconnected from the server, when we tried to connect it said *Can`t connect to the server*, we got back into the game after 4 - 5 minutes, but ofc it was already lost. Why wasn`t loss prevented if the server just got drunk? Why did we lose LP because of server issues? How many years of gamedesign do you need to start thinking about comfortable gameplay instead of lux skins?

    (Btw, did any1 else get same problem?)

    Our Janna teleports instantly into the enemy team

    At the beginning of our league match, our Janna appeared in the middle of the enemy team. Our entire team witnessed this, and multiple of our replays show this same view. Somehow the enemy team was able to see, and attack, Janna while we still saw her next to us.

    We asked the enemy team if they saw the same thing, and they said she floated right into them.

    We Made a Build Recommendation Website Using Machine Learning. It's Better, Probably

    Hey guys, Aldonall here. Some of you may know me as the data guy from those "The Review" patch analysis write-ups I've been doing on here for the last two years or so. Others as that hard-stuck Platinum Wukong player in your solo queue games. Here's hoping it's more of the former.

    In between making fun of champion balance and creating endless tables, my best friend Griffin and I have been building LoLTheory.gg, the first machine-learning driven build website. For those of you that have been here a long time, you may remember we launched a prototype over two years ago, when it looked a little something like this beauty. We've come a long way since then, so we figured it's about time we gave it another go.

    Here's some stuff we do well, I think:

    • Full Customization: Click anything. Like actually anything. Okay, not the blank space, moron. Any component of a build. I never liked how if I didn't want to use the first item build they recommended, the whole build was useless. So change things as you see fit, and it'll re-configure around you.

    • Holistic Builds: Vegan. Organic. In my time using other build websites, I've seen some... interesting suggestions. A jungler with aftershock followed by full Lethality? Check. A mid-laner with Glacial Augment and then no item to go with it? Check. Instead of taking the highest win rate item build and smashing it together with the highest WR rune build, we've tried to look at how they interact to see which full loadouts work best.

    • Two Billion Options: Because we use mAcHiNe LeArNiNg, we can stretch data a lot further than the average bear. As such, as of the time of this writing we've got 1,990,245,522 total combinations rated.

    • Traits: Why use number when word do trick? We've attached little descriptors to each loadout, so you can see how yours performs compared to others.

    Soo many times i thought the game was loading just to be greeted to the : You are disconected, after tabbing out , the only sign that you are disconected is the fact that the mouse changes to the default one but the loading screen stays the same and most people grab their phone while the game loads soo a lot of the time they just won't realize,they'll think that it's just a really long loading screen.

    This happens with almost an infinite number of things. Like this example, creep block is the major issue. But things like being in an auto attack animation and trying to throw snowball will make it fire whatever way you're attacking. Really sucks for things like Urgot where he's constantly shooting at shit, your snowball will just go completely sideways 50% of the time.

    Has Riot ever addressed this? Is this supposed to be how it functions? I feel like it didn't used to be like this in past seasons.
