Is Riot proud of this? As TF Blade makes his 500th account to ruin every game from silver/bronze to challenger, some Rioter casually bans someone who said 'retard' in all chat for the second time. People on the enemy team of these 'smurfs' are probably frustrated at their teammates for playing poorly and flaming them for the loss, not knowing the players they are playing against are way higher skilled than the average at their elo. I wanna know if you guys would rather have someone who says bad stuff every now and then in our community or someone who ruins more than a 100 games every time he makes a new account to 'smurf' for youtube videos.

Listen; I love me some cool theme skins as much as anyone. All the coven skins are dope, Project skins, the april fools ones, the holiday ones, darkstar, world breaker, elder wood, star guardian, the bands, etc. All fantastic!

But I kinda miss champs just getting fun skins that are cool and different. Not tied to any lineup or wave of skins... Just a single skin for a single champ that's completely original in theme. Like Corporate Mundo; Devil Teemo, warmonger sion and so on.

You know?

Just wondering if I'm alone in this, lol.

Boosting his orbs or damage won't do anything when the champion is as unreliable as he is. I'm a jungle main, and I absolutely love Kayn as a concept and playstyle but something needs to be done about his minigame before he can even be considered a pro play viable champion. There are so many factors at play that determine what form you would want to take, and the fact that you can't guarentee a form at a certain time is ridiculous. For example, say you're playing versus Renekton, Ivern, Kassadin, Ezreal and Morgana. You'd obviously want shadow assassin to deal with Ezreal and Ivern right? Well, lets say your top laner was Riven, and she needed ganks to ensure she didn't get the croc cock. Well, your transformation to Shadow Assassin is going to be delayed until 15:00~, or you bite the Rhaast bullet and be useless while Ivern peels you.

This would literally solve almost every issue with the champion. He'd come online sooner in 90% of games, and he would be a more reliable pick, maybe even a reliable first pick in pro games because you could adapt to what they pick into you RELIABLY.

A look into the coaching and staff in NA vs LPL

Hi guys, my name is ham and I'm a former analyst for one of the LCS teams. I was watching the duo stream LS did with doublelift and it really got me thinking about coaching staff in NA. So I went and looked up everyone that I could find for the 10 teams and compared their histories. You can see the chart here:

Some really interesting disparities jump out. For example, C9 is the only team with an entire staff who have been pro players. They also have the most cumulative pro experience (15 years!!) and highest average time spent as a pro. Most of the teams have at the most 1 ex pro player (with on average less than 3 years experience).

The trend seems to be you have C9 at the top, followed by the new teams with fresh talent (EG, FLY, etc) and then all the paycheck stealers at the bottom. Of course this is just this spring and would look entirely different compared to last summer.

Now out of curiosity, I also did the same thing for the LPL. You can see the chart here (I only did the top 10 teams for times sake):

The most immediate difference that jumps out is the number of staff who have had some kind of pro career. In the LCS just 32% of the staff have had any kind of player career, whereas in the LPL that number jumps to 54%. Also while the average pro time on an individual level is about the same, on a per team basis the LPL is higher.

In conclusion spring really seemed like the perfect storm for C9, having individual talent in each of the 5 roles and then the best coaching staff. I would say that having Reignover (who was a jungler) is actually even more beneficial because Jungle is the one role who has to know matchups for all their lanes.

People say that NA has a culture problem and we keep recycling old players which is why the region sucks compared to others. I think part of that has to do with the fact that ex pros leave to become streamers or just never retire and have massive long careers. Players like lemon, hai, oddone, etc. I really think that the GM's of the bottom teams need to get rid of their paycheck stealing coaches and bring in either new faces (like Artemis) or just find ex-pro's.

I was bored at lunch and decided to look through old champion reveal threads from reddit for previous releases. I wanted to see what people thought of the champs at the time and if that has changed at all. I included reworks too where I could find them but this is definitely not a full list.
