    The submissions are in, and the vote threads are made! Just pretend that this whole thing took me four hours to set up, because for once in my life I'm out of puns.

    Here is how this is going to work:

    • Each qualified submission will have its own comment containing the contents submitted, as well as the author's name.
    • This thread will be set to contest mode, randomizing submissions on opening the thread.
    • After 3 days from the posting of this thread, voting will close and we will announce the winners soon after.

    I don't know what Riot was trying to do with this stream style, but showing a little bit of footage and going back to the same screen is just boring. A quicker reveal works much better than this powerpoint-like montage stream.

    Passive: Shut it down, when Gordon shuts down an enemy champion, he gains permanent AD.

    Q: Come here, you, Gordon intimidates the fuck out his enemy, silencing them for 1 second. If enemy has less than 20% health, stuns them.

    W: Jean-Phillipe, JP appears and shields Gordon for a third of his health.

    E: Fuck off, makes enemy walk off in a direction of his choosing for 1 second.

    R: Fucking raw, Gordon roars, damaging all enemies around him and stuns them for 1 second.

    Bwipo is an absolute treasure and I'll try to be like him

    So I just watched the RoundTable w/ LS, IWDominate, Fnatic`Bwipo, and Malice (Bwipo comes in at about 47min) and it was cathartic to hear them voice their opinions on the recent SoloQ issues. Bwipo was talking about how people refuse to take responsibility. Maybe this won't solve everything, but I feel like it's a step in the right direction. He explaines the issue much better and I highly encourage everyone to listen to the podcast.

    Before Voyboy made this video, a large percentage of the post here were about eather how jungle is blamed or how jungle blames the laners. Now it´s about how streamers should not be toxic, or streamers should not be smurfig, which I agree, but the fact is that those people who watch them and reward such behavior are also part of the problem.

    I don't see the appeal of smurfing, just to have a highlight montage of you flexing on noobs, or to feel better about yourself. Doesn't make sense, almost like playing football against little children. And I don't watch twitch, but if you do, please don't complain about smurfs in your game. Almost all of my deaths are on me and at least I feel like if a smurf on the enemy team carries harder than me, it's my fault.

    But it's not about smurfs, it's about toxicity.

    I don't flame people for no reason, but if somebody flames me, then I'll flame back and that makes me part of the problem as well. Besides, it's a waste of time and energy. So from now on I will:

    • Disable Chat (I didn't know pro players do that)
    • Use pings to communicate
    • Assume everyone wants to win, reach their highest goal
    • Never queue up with a negative mindset
    • Getting frustrated initially is fine, but afterwards I'll reflect on what I could have done better

    Heya,

    My IGN is Worst OTP Shen and I like to play top. I don't play as much as I did when I was in school but I like to get on and play a few games a week, mostly in normals unless my duo partner is on.

    Sob story aside there is some personal shit going on in my life that has been bothering me lately and I like to play league to decompress but I think we all know that sometimes this isn't the most relaxed game to play. Toxicity is alive and well even in normals and I open myself up to it more by having my name what it is, but it's funny to me and I like Shen so idc.

    Anyway, matched with a 4 man premade in normals who didn't say anything really during champ select. Get in game and things are alright then I get first blood against an Illaoi top. My team goes hype wild out of no where like all sorts of nuts. I'm laughing my ass off irl and it honestly just continued like this for the rest of the game. Any play made that I was even remotely involved in, every solo kill or ult and the whole team just went nuts in chat. Got 4 honors at the end of the game and they invited me to play another. Hopped in discord, I'm pretty shy, but it was the same. They're just going nuts on every play and I'm dying laughing.

    Oh they also all changed their name to shen and all the voice and chat channels to shen. So funny to see that when I joined the discord.

    The point is that what may have started as a joke for them ended up being one of the more memorable experiences I've had playing league since 2011. Friendliness goes a long way.
