League becomes awful to play when you have to pay more attention to your team mental than to the game itself. Posted: 17 Jun 2020 09:17 AM PDT I've started grinding elo, and I skyrocketed from Gold to Diamond. What I did? Every single game, I have to check if those guys are going first time Azir, or if they're picking Zed even after 43% WR on 150 games and a <2 KDA. So I dodge those games. Then, you have to mute both chats, as that's just a mine of tilt and it draws way to much attention. And on top of that, you've to keep encouraging but not to much. If you don't encourage them, they will ff as soon as they get 1v4 killed. If you encourage them a bit to much, they will 1v4 as soon as possible. But, you have the chat disabled, so yeah, it sucks. Basicly my point is today leagues feel like a kindergarten of childs ragequitting ( I'm the only one who has seen a lot of those recently? Posted: 17 Jun 2020 11:11 AM PDT Challengers Uprising is a new online league that has a $15,000 prize pool, qualifier points towards Scouting Grounds, and has an average player age range of 15-21. It seems pretty cool so far and thought I'd share because I think that there's some interesting content here. It's actually produced by the same guy that runs the TCS every year, and some notable teams including 100 Thieves NEXT, Radiance (owned by Hai,) Maryville (Top collegiate program,) and a bunch of other teams. Kind of excited to see an NA league finally step up to provide a real environment for these next generation of players to compete in, really felt like Europe was leaving us in the dust. Finally made it out of bronze thanks to you guys!! Posted: 17 Jun 2020 10:31 AM PDT 1 month ago I made a post in this forum asking for help getting out of bronze ( I was hardstuck in the same rank, same position). I was placed in Bronze 3 and after almost 178 games I was still in Bronze 3, no progress made. You guys gave me some really good advice, and I took it the best I could. Started one tricking Illaoi, focused on csing, analyzed my games to see what I could do better, Split pushed objectives, Asked my team to group on objectives even more; today I'm really happy to say that I have finally reached Silver. Just wanted to share this with you guys and thank this community. It really gets to you when you play for so long and make it nowhere, but this really makes me feel like I've improved. As someone who mained Shyvana since i started playing 6 to 7 years ago i hate her AP build, but her AD option is way too outdated too Posted: 17 Jun 2020 02:11 PM PDT Shyvana is one of those old, just kind of right click you champions when she's is played in the way that it was intended but here's the catch, she has 0 and i mean 0 ways of skill expression, all she can do is throw herself at the enemy backline and hope that they die before she dies herself, soo in order to make her even viable she needs to be overstat to compensate for the lack of skill expression but that just makes Shyvana a binary champion (did she farm up enough and outleveled you? Great she can 1v1 you by right clicking you) which as you can understand is frustrating for anyone playing against her and in general she is way too outdated to be as fun as other champions and that doesn't have to do with age as much as people think but rather design, champions that are older than her like Jax or Yi are the same kind of ''just kind of right click you to death'' but they have skil expression built into their kit, Jax can block enemy autos with his E and get out of sticky situations with his Q, Yi can dodge skillshots with Q and in case he is in a bad spot he can use W to block damage that might have been lethal, but Shyvana has none of that she just runs at you.
