| Things I have learned from the Chinese Super Server Posted: 14 Sep 2020 04:24 AM PDT So after a few days of watching Midbeast and Dom stream the pros playing soloq on the Chinese Super Server, here is a list of things that anyone who hasn't watched it can expect to see: (If you haven't checked out the streams the games are actually really crazy and good fun to watch)

These are just a few things that spring to mind, I am sure other people watching have many more. Worlds can't come quick enough. EDIT 2: A lot of people wondering how we are watching these games. | Isn't Qiyana's ult indicator extremely off? Posted: 14 Sep 2020 11:33 AM PDT Like, ridiculously off. Last night I had a game in an alternate account where the enemy Qiyana got a 4 man stun at the Baron pit, which ok, sure, she missed the main target but it was a nice ult, we still won in the end but I remember not being anywhere near the wall indicator of her ult and still getting stunned. So I did what I think was the correct approach and took Qiyana into the practice tool this afternoon to figure out what that was all about. And for whatever reason, this Ultimate has an insane amount of phantom range. https://i.imgur.com/9t6A4jl.png Not one dummy is visibly inside the ultimate indicator, yet they all got hit. But I thought it could just have been another visual bug caused by League being a 2d game simulating 3d graphics, that sometimes causes some visual inconsistencies with skillshots travelling through potential targets if thrown around in some places near the river. So I sold all my items to make sure it wasn't some weird item interaction that was causing this, then I took Qiyana near the enemy blue, to have "even terrain", but no. https://i.imgur.com/7ZZwkKt.png The result was the same. This ultimate just has incredible amounts of invisible range for whatever reason, which is kinda ridiculous because this Ultimate deals a shitton of damage by itself and stuns you on top of that just to make sure you cannot escape her one-shot combo. I think Riot should fix the hitbox ASAP. Either expand the indicator or reduce the range, but just make her R hitbox match the actual ability for visual clarity sake. [link] [comments] | ||
