"Sources: @Cloud9 have made verbal commitments to both @G2esports and @G2Perkz to acquire the Croatian mid laner from the #LEC championship team.

A deal cannot be finalized in writing until Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. ET, but both teams were able to come to terms on Thursday."

"Kind of goes without saying, but @Cloud9 will now make @Nisqylol fully available for buyout & @G2esports will be on the hunt for a new AD carry.

Biggest deal of the offseason so far."

    https://twitter.com/G2Perkz/status/1327027891629158400

"if those rumours are true than Cloud9 just lost the offseason once again

why the fuck would they get an ADC player to play Midlane for their team ???"

    Perkz already fitting in.

It’s hard to tell when you can afford items in the new shop

    Posted: 12 Nov 2020 08:01 AM PST

Is anyone else having trouble seeing when you can afford items?

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the items in the new shop are either too bright when you CANT afford them, and there isn't a big enough difference to when you are able to purchase them. Take a look at longsword the next time you shop, I legit thought I didn't have enough gold to buy it in lots of my games because it almost looked greyed out when I could clearly afford the 350 gold.

"So what happens with @mithygg ? His future is undecided, according to sources, but one scenario is swirling around a lot behind-the-scenes.

If @G2esports and @Cloud9 can reach a buyout agreement for @G2Perkz , Mithy could end up an assistant coach for C9, reuniting with Perkz."

Kassadin is currently the lowest winrate in the game with almost a sub 40% winrate

    Posted: 12 Nov 2020 11:58 AM PST

I've been a fairly high elo (D1-D3) Kass main for years and this is the worst shape he's ever been in. ROA removed from the game, Seraph's embrace no longer gives 25% mana refund on cast or any CDR or the shield active, presence of mind changed and nerfed, no good Mythic item to rush, and he no longer has that amazing late game to counterbalance his absolutely horrendous early game.

There is legitimately no reason to pick Kass at this point as his early game is even more atrocious than before the patch. You lose to AD champs even harder, you lose to AP champs as hard as you lost to AD champs pre patch, and a well positioned control mage will honestly probably outscale you since you will be getting 1 shot upon going into a late game team fight.

EDIT: For everyone complaining about Kassadin's current playstyle, back in s7-s8 he used to go ROA -> Lich Bane -> Zhonyas and did not feel as oppressive late game. He was not a 1v9 machine R blinking machine, but still was at a balanced 50-51% winrate.

Some of the new boot icons hurt me on a physical level

    Posted: 12 Nov 2020 01:06 PM PST

https://imgur.com/a/CqpGY1E old icons made my mouth water, looked scrumptious. new icons genuinely make me depressed. how is a billion dollar company being out performed by themselves when they were just a small start up. is it the difference between artists working out of passion, instead of working for just a paycheck.

The new shop is not compatible with being colourblind.

    Posted: 12 Nov 2020 02:25 AM PST

The new icons art is really detailed, which is causing issues for everyone when they are shrunk down. Now imagine if all the different shades of colours used look the same.

This issue isn't game ruining but it makes it really difficult to glance at builds when you click tab.

Some examples of where this seems to be an issue are: Everfrost, Sunfire Aegis, Shurelya's battlesong

Basically any item with a lot of reds, oranges, purple.

Grievous wounds' rework is one of the best things from this preseason

    Posted: 12 Nov 2020 11:41 AM PST

One of my favourite things about Senna support was that she could buy exec extremely easily (and she applies it very easily too), and ever since her release I was hoping that Riot would let every class get some sort of healing counter. And they've finally done it!

It just feels so good to be able to buy grievous wounds on enchanters or mages, when you need it earlygame. No longer do you have to stand by and watch from afar as a Janna, while your team has 0 healing reduction versus Soraka Aatrox Katarina Samira and Zac. You can buy it yourself for 800g now! And you don't have to spend 3 goddamn thousands of gold for Morello either, which was neither gold efficient for a support nor cheap enough to be afforded by one. Phenomenal change and this game really needed it.

Not to mention that the game actually tells you by how much the healing is getting reduced now (%).

An attempt to make the readability of Mythic Items a little better.

    Posted: 12 Nov 2020 04:30 PM PST

    Hey!

A good portion of the community seems to dislike the new item portraits for many reasons and I agree with a lot of those opinions. The portraits have too much clutter and flair that, yes, while they do look very good on higher resolutions, that flair does not translate in icon form, making the icons seem busy and hard to distinguish from one another.

This is my attempt at trying to make the items clearer and easier to notice at a glance.

    https://m.imgur.com/a/bstqgz0

The majority of the items already look good and all that was needed was minor adjustments, like removing some of the excess colors in the background or upping the saturation of the colors. Some others required heavy editing to make them look unique and to emphasize their shape.

Just keep in mind I'm no expert, I don't know much about color theory or design or stuff. This is just a silly attempt because I felt could do it.

    What do you guys think?

All new items are fine, but the way they look isn't. Debate on new items

    Posted: 12 Nov 2020 07:05 AM PST

As the title says i m ok with the new changes, i find it refreshing and interesting to have a new idea of items such as mithycals or legendaries. The problem i have is with the way the items look, the design is way too overforced is like we are playing league in season 2 and nobody is really enjoying their looks. Another problem i found out is they are looking quite similar. Can t they revert the old items design and update the new ones added? The best example i have is the doran s blade( which looks similar to serated dirk) and looks more like a butter knife ffs . That is my opinion and want to see what others are thinking.

Build Diverstiy for Supports is still bad (If not worse)

    Posted: 12 Nov 2020 12:38 PM PST

Support is a role, not a class. In fact, it's the most diverse role in the League. Tanks, echanters, assasins, mages, they all exists within the support role. Despite of such diversity, total number of legendary items given to the supports is 8 and one of them is just an uprage for your Control Wards which will be mandatory last item for all supports. All other classes have 13 legendaries, except marksmen. (marksmen have 18 legendaries but a lot of them are shared with other classes so it's reasonable) There is only 2 legendary and 1 mythic support item which gives tank stats so if you are playing a tank support, your build path is pretty much pre-determined by the game. (Shurelya gives only 200 HP as a tank stat) You might argue that they can use other tank mythic items but they are unaffordable. Paying 3.2k gold for an item is pratically imposible for a support. It means you won't have a single complete item until around 15 mins in the game. Enchanters are not in a good spot either. Moonstone Renewer will be go to item for 90% of the try-hard games but at least they can somewhat make us of other mythic items. New 2 AP support items are fine but they are extremely situational to add diverstiy to your build. Staff of Flowing Water is... weird. I can't think that many champions who really wants that AP and Movement Speed. (Bot lane Cassio maybe?) Movement speed on its own might be cool too for an ADC but I am not sure if it's worth of spending your already low item slot. Chemtech putrifer seems more like a support Zyra/Brand item rather than a enchanter one. Maybe you would want to buy it if your team is full of TFT-only players and refuses to buy any wound item but I don't see a reason buy it otherwise. Overal, as a support you either have to buy items with weird stats and high costs or use the build which was already chosen for you by the game.

Why did katarina get an insane buff for no reason?

    Posted: 12 Nov 2020 02:47 AM PST

Katarina in s10 had an okay winrate and a decent playrate for a niche difficult assassin. She had moments of insane power, but also of weakness.

Gunblade was removed, which was kats favourite item. Riot decided to buff her to compensate (unlike other gunblade users apparently), by giving her the ability to apply onhits on her passive, e and r.

Why did riot do this? This is an insanely huge buff?

People will read and build AD items but this is a trap imo; Nashors+Lichbane means that all her abilities get between 0.25 and 0.85 ability power ratio added to them, along with getting 200 raw ap from 2 items. I saw this early on the Pbe but people stopped playing it, but Kat was literally oneshotting people with her E. How did this get through?

The removal of oracles has made it an horrible experience to play against teemo and potentially shaco

    Posted: 12 Nov 2020 12:36 AM PST

With the removal of oracles and cannon being slapped on with a wide range oracles, it's a horrible experience. You basically never get to push unless you ace the whole team that teemo is on but then you might step into a shroom field. But why? Cannon minion has oracles! this doesn't change the fact that teemo can stack shrooms on-top of each other and just throw it into the wave to clear the ENTIRE wave so the cannon minion never reaches past a point to see the rest of the mushrooms.

I played 3 games against teemo yesterday and it was a HORRIBLE experience of 20-30mins of trying to push and not being able to. I can't say if it's the same for shaco and his boxes last a lot short duration and i never played against him after the new patch.

    Edit: In aram.

I don't know about everyone else, but I vastly prefer the old item artwork style (image for comparison)

    Posted: 12 Nov 2020 03:52 PM PST

    Old vs new item sets

Don't get me wrong, the new artwork style isn't BAD per se - everything is shinier and more colorful, surely a deliberate move by Riot. But for most of the items, it seems way overdone and just forced. The artwork doesn't really fit the theme/lore of League of Legends, and seems more appropriate for Fortnite or some B-list mobile game. The new items look cartoonish almost, and I just prefer the straighter lines and more realistic/refined look of the old item set.

What's done is done, and there's no point in complaining, but man it sure does feel disappointing that this seems more like a step back rather than forward in the evolution of League.
