    Edit: I did some searching and found that it's not actually the first time that he got fined 1 month's salary. He was fined 4 years ago when he was on Snake Esports for insulting China on KR solo queue.

    Another one of Jacob Wolf's leaks proved true. It's interesting that EG would choose to hire Peter, someone who was known for working with rookies and developing for long term, when EG seems to be a "win-now" team with the amount of money they spent last year.

    Ah I got what are you guys talk about. to me, Faker seems to have A LOTS of external activities. At 2017, when I saw Faker, I felt little pity on him. It was 2017 All-Star Event, we went to Bubba Gump. Eating shrimps we had a small talk and he told me he only rest once a month. It was... so pitiful. It's like... you should know Faker might exaggerated okay? Anyway I felt sorry about him.

    After the 2017 All-Star Event, all players except Faker came right back to Korea but Faker headed to another country. Was it China? NA? I can't remember it. He boarded another plane to do external activities.

    Superstar is super hard, you know. And that makes an answer to the question 'why Faker loves to read books'. I think, to Faker, book is the only shelter of his mind.

    Per kenzi, ahq Esports has been rumored to have bought Rogue Warrior's spot in the LPL and will field a team in the LPL for the upcoming spring split. Will be interesting to see who they pick up and what kind of team they will field, and also how the fans will react to having a Taiwanese team in the LPL.

    League Missions are covered by TFT Missions.

    I don't play TFT, I do play a lot of League. I do know I can switch to the League tabs but those have their own issues (First Win of the Day mission doesn't show there) and I don't think I should change the tab every time I login just to filter out the TFT missions. That's another game, basically clutter.

    Why is this the default behavior?

    Why can't we disable TFT missions in the settings?

    Why doesn't TFT have its' own client yet?

    I asked r/leagueoflegends which Champion they would delete from the game, if given the opportunity. I wanted to take a look at the only 13 champions that received no votes.

    I was curious what thoughts everyone had on this. Definitely surprised by some of these - Elise, Nidalee, Rumble, Rakan and Rek'Sai all can be rage-inducing. Not surprised by others; I don't remember the last time I had trouble with a Braum. What do you think? Are these champs in need of a buff, or are they just very fairly designed?

    Why is Adaptive Helm being removed?

    This item was introduced to help against mainly against DoT magic damage. This includes Brand, Teemo, Cassiopeia, Malzahar, Rumble, Mordekaiser, Lillia; champs against which other magic resistance items are less helpful because once they have a Void Staff, they shred you easily, especially whan combined with Liandry. Mordekaiser doesn't even need a Void Staff, thanks to his E; just with Liandry, he will quickly shred any tank that lacks Adaptive Helm.

    Adaptive Helm is extremely helpful against those champs because it has a passive that directly reduces repeated magic damage. Speaking of which, it is not just against DoT that it is helpful. It is also helpful against spammable spells (Vladimir, Ryze, the aforementioned Cassiopeia, etc), on-hit magic damage (Kayle, Kai'Sa, etc), spells with multiple instances (Syndra's ultimate, etc) - but it is against DoTs that it is the most useful, due to Liandry. A champion that has Liandry and magic penetration will shred any tank, regardless of magic resistance (some of the aforementioned champs have % max health on their kits, without Liandry). Adaptive Helm helps against that because it ignores magic penetration, allowing the tank to last more time in a teamfight, for example, without being shredded so easily.

    Without Adaptive Helm, what will be the defense against the aforementioned champions? Because it is very difficult to itemize against them otherwise and they shred tanks way too easily. Most of the magic damage itemization has been designed to help against burst, but not against DPS/DoT; this is unlike armor, which we have tons of options against both physical burst and physical DPS.

    Especially due to the new items, we really need Adaptive Helm to stay. For example, Liandry's Anguish (Liandry's Torment rework) will give the user a DoT that scale with AP and deals damage based on the enemy's max health, on top of giving 5% magic penetration on each DoT instance, for a maximum of 25% magic penetration. Or Riftmaker, which is still helpful for DoT champs even without % health damage because it increases the magic damage done and it gives even more magic penetration. Or Demonic Embrace, which gives you a DoT that causes % health damage as magic damage. While it is less than Liandry, and it doesn't give magic penetration, it has the advantage of not being a mythical item, so it can be combined with Liandry or with Riftmaker.

    Is there any reason to why Adaptive Helm is being removed? How will tanks be compensated for that removal?

    I guess it wasn't the worst I've ever done but I don't think I deserved an S-... on a completely different champion. It seemed like everyone else saw Kha'Zix instead for some reason

    Is not buying the support item a reportable

    Hello summoners,

    I just lost a game, where our support started with corrupting potion instead of supp item and never bought it, resulting us having no wards as bot, supp and mid all had blue trinkets, me (jng) had red and toplane was barelly using his. All pinkwards were destroyed rather quickly as enemy support was doing his job well. We literally had 0 info about enemy team the entire game. No way to setup an objective or cover our own jungle entrances.

    Is that considered griefing?

    EDIT: Just to add some info to that specific scenario: It was a ranked (SoloQ) game in Gold1/Plat4 elo.

    Pretty much to sum the video up, he says that it's hard to tell currently how good of a player someone is purely based on LP because there are so many ways to inflate it. He brings up 3 instances. He says one-tricks should be -500 lp, Duo abusers can range from -1000 to -200 lp, and that ppl who dodge after looking at op.gg should be -300lp. He then mentions that as long as dodging exists in solo queue it will be difficult to gauge a player's true skill. He also wants dodging in champ select to count as a loss for the player + jokes that maybe riot can monetize dodging by selling "dodge tickets" for rp.
