Posted: 25 Dec 2020 03:30 PM PST I'm sure there are many other content creators who do this, or those players who duo queue to hit longest win streak records or whatever, but recently I've been watching compilations on youtube n shit and there's always a couple of clips of this rengar player called Dekar. Thought he played clean af, so I searched the accounts he plays on and this was one of them. But this account's mmr has been clearly intentionally tanked for 100+ games just so that he can get infinitely queued against bronze and silver players. Idk if he does this himself or pays for the account or hires another 3rd party to do it for him but it's just kinda scummy imo that he does this. I'm sure he gets cool highlights, but I'm surprised people actually enjoy that content. I certainly wouldn't be entertained watching Ronaldo or Messi or something steamroll a bunch of school children. He's played almost 50 games already and nothings happened to the account. I'm sure he has a bunch of backups in case it gets banned anyways. Just sad to see this shit. Anything for that paper and ego I guess. [link] [comments] | ||

| I really like what Riot did with the mini Ornn rework this preseason. Posted: 25 Dec 2020 01:02 AM PST As someone who has nearly 200K mastery on Ornn, I think this is a much more enjoyable and fair playstyle to go up against in comparison to how he was previously designed. For those of you who didn't know, Ornn used to be able to upgrade two core items of his (Sunfire Cape and Abyssal Mask) into masterwork upgrades at level 13: increasing their stats by around 75%. This gave him around 3000 gold worth of stats JUST from hitting level 13, essentially making it impossible to burst him down even when he was behind. The powerspike was just way too large and focused on him reaching level 13 before major teamfights broke out. With the addition of Mythic items, he only builds one for himself, and the stats he gets from the upgrade are noticeably less. However, seeing as this was a massive loss in gold value, Riot has adjusted him, so he now gains an additional 4% bonus resistances and health from all sources for each mythic item he upgrades for his team (which can happen once per each level after 13). While he still gets a notable powerspike at level 13, it's nowhere near as ridiculous as it previously was. The stats are instead spread out over each level he upgrades an allies Mythic item. After every teammate has been upgraded, Ornn ends up being even tankier than he previously was, but he has to play around maintaining an XP lead to reach his full build. TL;DR - I really like how Riot removed the 3000 gold worth of stats Ornn earns at level 13 and instead spreads it out over each Mythic item he upgrades for his teammates. Out of these 20 games, I can safely say, that I faced Akali in lane in like 15 of them. Personally I dont mind playing against it, since I dont find her neither too good nor too bad, but that doesnt change the fact that it's annoying to play against the same champion over and over. Idrk if that happens to other people as well, but it definitely started happening to me like last week or smth... Idk man it kinda tilts me..
