Forg1ven has decided to step down from his role as ADC for S04. Extremely disappointing as a Forg1ven fan considering we haven't seen him play in so long. Feels like he's just quitting rather than just trying to be the best he can be right now and hopefully get an offer from a better team or see how the roster can improve.

This is most likely the nail in the coffin as thorin was one of the biggest fans of forgiven and seemed always to be on his side atleast imo. Lets just hope and wait for Schalke/Forgiven to make another statement or clarification cuz this seems really really messed up right now

Forg1ven's last two retweets are really spicy, this man is going in. Pretty disrespectful though overall. This is probably his career done unfortunately. Shame it went down like this after his hyped return.

Jankos: It is not that far from the end of my career. Once it ends, I’d like to be a streamer. An interview with Jankos made during the third week of the LEC.

    Posted: 13 Feb 2020 08:21 AM PST

    Hi guys!

A Polish website released an interview with Jankos made during the third week of the LEC. I translated it to English, so that everyone can read it.

A link to the original interview in Polish:https://esportmania.pl/league-of-legends/jankos-wywiad-mojej-karierze-blizej-do-konca-niz-poczatku-league-of-legends/s6vxvbj

    My translation:

Jankos: It is not that far from the end of my career. Once it ends, I'd like to be a streamer.

During the third week of of LEC, Bartek Klepaczewski and Fryderyk "Veggie" Kozioł went to the studio in Berlin. After the match of the week between G2 Esports and Fnatic these guys had a chance to talk to Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski. Jungler of G2 spoke about the match with FNC, the attitude in the spring split, mentioned which one of all polish junglers is the hardest to play against and shared the plans of ending his career.

You began the match against FNC with an invade defence, which gave your enemies a small advantage. How do you react and adapt to those situations?

First of all, we did not expect that to happen. We thought that may do something around our red buff. But their decision to enter out jungle was quite weird. I think that Aatrox and Elise are stronger than Gangplank and Lee Sin on the level one, so they got quite a lot forcing Perkz to use his flash, but as a team we were not set behind.

This week you won against Rogue and Fnatic. You're 6:0 now. Can any team in Europe be a threat for you?

Usually, when we get lead, games are easy, because other teams are not proactive. However, playing against Rogue and Fnatic we were losing some teamfights. These two teams try to flank, they want better teamfights and try to force us to make mistakes. This is why playing against them is a bit harder, but more interesting as well. It is also the same with Origen. Additionally, I was surprised with MAD Lions performance. At the beginning I thought that it would be a weak team, created with a small budget, but now I think that they might end up in top 5.

Aren't you tired of constant winning?

No. If we were losing, it could look completely different, but now, because it's the beginning of the split we try to be the best team possible. Maybe in weeks 6 or 7 we will be more exhausted, because 9 weeks of the split are is quite boring. Especially considering that later we have the summer split when you have to play those exact same matches, but this is when you fight for Worlds. Last year Riot changed the format and the first place gives you an advantage in play-offs, so this is what we aim for.

I'm asking because Grabbz said after the finals of Worlds that you had a little burnout, but, from what you say, I assume that you train as much as possible.

I think that our training is not that intense anymore. We play less soloq than last year. Other guys also play a lot of Magic: The Gathering, because they lately bought some cards.

    Do you play with them?

Not really. When they play, I stream. That's why it is not worth it for me to buy the cards and without them it is hard to get dragged in. Lately they have been playing even until 3. a.m., so this split for us is definitely not that tryhard. Now it is the beginning and we have a lot of fun playing the game because we had had a long break and we like to win.

Was Caps' and Perkz' roleswap refreshing and changed the routines?

It is something new for us, indeed. At the beginning we had some problems because of that and we were losing a lost of scrims, compared to last season's 90% win rate. Now everything comes back to normal, but our playstyle is a bit different.

Last year Selfmade played for SK Gaming and Inspired had his debut in Rogue. Now they have much stronger rosters and they can compete with you and G2. Who is it harder to play against?

It is hard to say because right now the game is really team-based. We did not scrim against Fnatic lately, earlier there were days where either us or them could not win anything. However, we always win with Rogue.

For me, playing is always quite easy, because jungler depends on the situation on lanes and the whole map and after so many years in the LEC it is easy for me to understand it. This is why being outplayed does not mean that the other jungler is better. Sometimes you have simply no impact, you aren't able to do anything. The situation is different for players playing on lanes, it depends a lot on players' mechanics, but the jungler's job is to play around his team.

Since you play around your team, what is the communication like? You made a change in your team.

There is no difference. I remember playing with Perkz since the year 2018. Of course, when Caps was playing mid, the communication was different. He demanded less, he is more selfish than Perkz, but also much more self-sufficient and beats the lane in 1v1. Perkz focuses on the team much more and talks to his jungler a lot. We play together really well and we have a lot of ideas how to help our team roaming to top or bot.

We already mentioned scrims. Sometimes I see the bottom-tier LEC teams looking for scrims with teams from regional leagues. Does that happen to you to scrim non-LEC team?

Last time I played against regional league teams was before the Worlds. This is when there are only 2 other teams left and there aren't any other to play against. If we were in Korea it would be completely different. In 2018 we practised against Damwon, which was promoted to the LCK and was active during the Worlds. Now it did not look too good, because academy teams and regional league teams are much weaker than us. You can see that mainly during the laning phase, but it is much easier to play against those junglers as well.

Do you follow any regional leagues?

I watch only the best teams from LCK and LPL, unless there's a unconventional champion, because then I check how it was played in the earlygame. There's also the LCS, but it's more like for fun when you have nothing to do because you are preparing for a match or you're already after a LEC match and you're tired.

You're one of not many players who has an experience of playing against Chinese or Korean teams. The LCK is getting started and there's a huge hype for it. Do you consider the Korean league to be the strongest one, or maybe the Chinese are next-level.

The level during the scrims is similar. Griffin, Damwon or SKT or similar to IG or FPX. When you play on the stage, the Chinese teams are better. They have much better coordination, which gives them a sick advantage in this meta. They are better in teamfights and they play better as a five. Korea plays it slower and more steadily, the players tend not to risk. This is why Korea had not so much success in the international tournaments.

Earlier you mentioned streaming. You were streaming only in Polish for a long time, but lately you've been streaming in English a lot.

It is much easier for me to play duo with other English-speaking players. I don't have to translate everything to Polish. Everyone understands English and everyone can watch my stream, theoretically I have my fans all over the world. I also look at the fact that it is not too far from the end of my career, and after it ends, I'd like to be a streamer.

Didn't you think about being a coach?

I like streaming much more. That's why I prefer streams in English, it is easier to make a living later on. Additionally, my streams haven't been developing in the last few years. I had a static audience and that was a maximum. There were 3 or 4 thousands of people. Now there are some days when I have around 6-8k viewers. When someone hosts me, the number is even higher, and when I was streaming in Polish that was impossible.

It was a good step, but it came too late. I should've done it 2 or 3 years ago, but I was uncomfortable with my language and I wasn't confident enough. Now I don't have such problems anymore. Of course, sometimes people say that I betrayed Poland, but I know that usually those are either kids or uneducated people, who didn't learn a language that is spoken around the world.

Before the end of your career, would you like to play in a different region?

It doesn't matter for me where I'm gonna live. It doesn't have to be Poland or Europe. If I consider it worth to go to the US, I'd do it in the last years of my career. For now, however, I'd like to stay with G2, but once the season ends, we will see. Maybe I'll end my career if we don't succeed and the organisation will decide to make some changes. So, moving to America might happen.

Last year you took part in the week of the stars (polish event). Do you plan to do anything for the Polish fans and the community?

It is hard to think about it now. Last year I had no free time. At the end of the year I had one month and a half for a break. I have no concrete plans for now. However, if there was a chance to come to the week of the stars, to meet up, to practise, to tell about the proplayer's life, I'd definitely be interested in that. But it is hard to organise everything myself, because when you win, you have no time for things different than training.

Aatrox's Revive Animation during GA should be replaced with the one he had during World Ender.

    Posted: 13 Feb 2020 08:56 AM PST

It's always a sad day when a champion loses animations or voicelines, especially when they can be used elsewhere.

Aatrox's Revive animation from World Ender (since it's not coming back anytime fast) would be perfect to replace his GA animation. It's fitting, and since the voicelines have already been added to GA and Zilean ult, it would be nice to push it all the way and give him that Revive animation, especially since he's the only champion in the game with a proper one (Zac and Anivia aren't quite revive animations).

That's pretty much it, I got nothing else. I just want that sweet sweet animation back.

Morgana Should Be on The Jungle Buffs List

    Posted: 13 Feb 2020 03:22 AM PST

For those of you who don't know Riot just released on the PBE buffs to Darius, Garen, Talon, Zed, Morde, Gnar, and Diana that allows them to jungle better. A Rioter also just posted on Twitter mentioning that they are looking to do this to more champions as well in the future Link to tweet: https://twitter.com/MarkYetter/status/1227780970687844352?s=20 .

I have been playing Morgana Jungle for a long time now and in it's current state I would say its extremely underrated and works well in Diamond and below from my experience. The problem is that she needs a little bit more damage to clear well because her W is her main source of damage and it isn't strong until you have it fully maxed, so its hard to keep up with other junglers early. To preface this, Morgana's passive which basically gives her spell vamp and reduces her W cooldown for every spell hit, already works on monsters. This gives her enough sustain to be able to stay healthy in the early levels and clear despite not having high damage**.** Morgana JG has a lot of strengths such as: healthy clear, multiple forms of cc, black shield, safe/reliable ganks, and good protection from being invaded. She is one of those champions that is on the cusp of being a good jungler and if Riot is serious about these jungle changes (meaning they actually want these champions to be meta) then Morgana should 100% be on the list.

Currently Morgana support is sitting at a 48% winrate Plat+ and yet still has a 30% banrate. Despite the fact that Morg support isn't that great of a champion the fact that she has black shield and a super long duration bind makes her a very bannable and annoying champion to play against. I think it will be really hard for Riot to buff Morgana support without making her insanely strong because she just has inherent strength in her kit for laning phase. If Riot were to give serious buffs to Morgana Jungle it would transition her out of support a bit and put her in the jungle (where black shield can't be maximized, utility wise) which I personally think is a much more healthy place for her to be. Morg jungle isn't the type of pick that just runs you over, but instead adds a control mage type playstyle to the jungle which I think is very interesting and fun. I probably have some of the most games of anyone on the NA server playing Morgana jungle as throughout all my accounts I've probably played her 1000 times in Normals and Ranked. This is my suggestion for the buffs:

Buff Morgana's (W) Tormented Shadow to deal 120% of its normal damage to Monsters.

While that may be enough an additional buff could be to her passive which currently heals 20% of damage dealt to champs, monsters, or Cannons.

Buff Morgana's (Passive) Soul Siphon to Heal 25% of ability damage to monsters

Ranged top laners are not the problem and the meta doesn't even favor them

    Posted: 13 Feb 2020 01:34 PM PST

When will people admit that bruisers are not weak right now where literally every game is Darius/Sett/Morde/Fiora top. Most of the typical "ranged top laners" actually have a shit winrate. Only Soraka and Sona are top tier when it comes to ranged and they're getting hotfixed soon.

Only 10 Champions have yet to be picked in a competitive League in 2020, all 138 other champions have already been picked!

    Posted: 13 Feb 2020 03:31 AM PST

I was bored and looking through stats and stuff and realized that as of February, only the following Champions have yet to be picked this year:

Udyr, Teemo, Rammus, Vi, Wukong, Brand, Amumu, Volibear, Janna, Neeko

This list includes all of the European ERLs, every Worlds Qualifying competitive league and their 2nd division/academy leagues, most Latin American regional leagues (I think?)!

PS: Also a fun stat, Master Yi hasn't gotten a single competitive win since July 2018, AKA the funnel days (damn I didn't realize it's almost been 2 years already)
