The Boards are dead. Welcome to the new folks! Posted: 01 Mar 2020 10:10 AM PST RIP Boards. Read the board closure announcement here. And welcome to Reddit. The best thing you can do as a new person here is check the sidebar and read our full rules. You can read them here: https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/wiki/subredditrules#rules But since we know most redditors aren't likely to do that, here's a quick summary of our most commonly violated rules: Don't personally attack other users. Keep your discussions civil. And most obviously, don't threaten other people and don't use hate speech. That's a quick way to get an insta-ban. Unlike the boards, this is not a place for tech or account support related questions. Instead, you should still reach out to riot support to resolve those issues. That said, we do host a bug megathread for all new patches and we encourage you to post about your bugs in those threads. All posts here must be directly related to League of Legends: the game, the league community (fanart, cosplay, fanfiction, etc), and league esports. For posts related to personalities and esports, the content must focus on players/orgs interactions with the game and not their lives outside of it. Memes are also disallowed here unless they are remade in their entirety. Basically, we want to see original content instead of the same recycled template memes. Be creative and you can still have fun with this stuff. Screenshots, tweets, and videos under 15 seconds all need to be in text posts. This is to help curb "low-effort" content on the sub. Your posts should address the community and not just Riot. So if you do a "Riot please" style post, it will almost certainly be removed. Instead, share your idea with the wider community and Riot will probably see it. Make sure your titles describe the content of your posts. Vague, contextless, and memetic titles will end up removed. We take a very hard line against spam. Your recent user history must contain no more than 4 self promoting links/comments. If using New Reddit, this is your last 25 posts. For comments to be considered in the ratio they must be part of a discussion and not be short one or two-word comments. Lastly, we know that people love to share their posts with friends and fans, and the boards allowed you to do that. However, on reddit, we frown on "vote manipulation". As such, please: Do not encourage friends/followers anywhere to upvote or downvote Reddit posts. Do not ask for upvotes in your post, or say "This will be downvoted, but...". You can link or otherwise share your comments / links on social media, provided you follow the exact titling shown here - "I just posted 'POST TITLE' on Reddit." followed by a link to your post. If you are violating our rules on a regular basis and otherwise interacting here in bad faith, then this is what you can expect. And finally, the closure of the boards means that we may see more Rioters around the subreddit. You'll know who they are by their pretty flair. That was around the time of his first visual update, but it turns out Riot was playing a long con. After so many reworks, Ryze himself has trouble keeping up with what his abilities do. In order to promote competitive integrity, Ryze makes sure to reference his patch notes. I imagine he does this in a way of going "oh, time for a Q, let me see if this is supposed to proc true damage." And I really don't know that is there anybody did this concept before. If someone did, please comment below. ~ ⛓️ MAIN CONCEPT ⛓️ Sylas gets new looks/models from the region of the champion whose ultimate was stolen. Each region has different models. It changes everytime when you steal someone's ultimate. ⛓️ REGIONS ⛓️ 🐙 BILGEWATER: Nagakabouros vibes. Sylas has tentacles as his chains. Inspiration ❄️ FRELJORD: I know that we already have, but this one is more traditional like Taliyah's skin. Sylas has cloths as his chains. "Skin rental for 7 days" is useless Posted: 01 Mar 2020 02:32 AM PST When was the last time you ever rented a skin in League thru Loot Boxes? That's correct, never. That's because Skin rental in League is useless, the skin shouldn't be rented with its own shard. Having the price changed from shard disappearing to Blue Essence is the solution for this useless option. Admit it, you'd rather sell the skin shard and gain some Orange Essence than spend the shard on the skin that expires within 7 days. The gained Orange Essence could come handy in the future, when you get some Rare Skin. 10,000 to 13,000 Blue Essence should be a good deal for a rented skin that expires without the shard disappearing, since Blue Essence are easy to get (tho, i'd rather spend that 13k BE to change name). If Riot were to release a graph everytime the "Skin rent button" were pressed, it would be flatter than Salar de Uyuni (had to search that). Q: So is this important? To preserve at least a part of it, I have written a program, which can theoretically download the entire Boards and then save it as JSON. While it is already functional, I need help in testing, adding additional features and of course providing extra processing power as my measly PC can't possibly download every single forum by itself. Why are there so many breaks on the LCS? Posted: 01 Mar 2020 12:50 PM PST 3 breaks during the opening show, multiple breaks in-between games and interviews/game breakdowns, and all of these breaks don't even show ads most of the time. It's just music with pictures of our handsome players. I'm definitely more confused than I am mad because LEC has ads and breaks in-between games and that's about it.
