She was a Lux main and at the time I was a Jinx main. We would do Star Guardian bot almost every game. She used to stream too and I used to join her for it. She was actually getting noticed and could probably have made it as a streamer. She made almost 1000 followers in about a month or two of doing Twitch. Unfortunately, she never made it to 1000. It's been a little over 3 years since my older sister committed suicide. She died the day after her birthday. While I have no symptoms or anything, this is the safest measure for everyone involved. Sorry. #LCK It makes sense and is the right call, quite a bummer though. Mid-Season Streamathon COVID donations Posted: 31 May 2020 10:58 AM PDT Hey everyone! Kushnood here from the Riot Social Impact team (which we affectionately call "Karma"). We just crested over 100K in donations in the mid-season streamathon (holy guacamole!) and wanted to give some extra information into where the community support will be headed. It can be a bit confusing since we're taking a different type of approach and want to be as transparent as possible! All money raised is technically going to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund at ImpactAssets. It's a US-based nonprofit that can allow us to distribute grant money internationally. We've got a few questions as to which specific nonprofit we'll be supporting and the answer is ... hundreds all over the world. Instead of choosing just one, we selected two professionally managed "funds" at GlobalGiving and ImpactAssets. Click the links and you can see the underlying projects that are going to support COVID relief. Note, we won't be donating to ALL of these, but working with them to identify the most impactful projects in the regions where the majority of players are. Think of it like instead of picking an individual company's stock, we're investing in index funds that contain hundreds of companies. (warning: I'm not a financial advisor). I know the people leading these funds, and they're some of the best in the world at what they do. The money will go towards immediate medical support, longer-term skills retraining, and helping impactful organizations that are getting smacked around by the economy. Raising money for charity means different things to different people. Some people only want to give back to those in their local communities, others want to give to those most in need, others care only about a few specific issues. It gets even more complicated when thinking how to make the biggest impact - do you give 1 person $100K, or 100K people $1? We thought that this approach for COVID relief is one of the best options to help those most in need with how they need it most. Some of you may remember me from the post I made several years ago, compiling optimized clears for junglers in seasons 7 and 8. I was on hiatus from League last season, but decided to update the database for season 10. This is a pretty straightforward package - it contains the most optimized clearing demonstrations available for pretty much every jungle champion. At the bottom tab there's an option to sort the clears by time as well, for a rough comparison between champions. Early jungle clearing is an area that many junglers struggle with without realizing - they lose a large amount of health and time, and end up handicapped each game before even getting out onto the map. It can be difficult to pinpoint and improve upon mistakes without a point of comparison, so that's what I'm hoping to provide. Please note these aren't endorsements of the contained paths as the best paths for each champion. A good jungler must be flexible and have multiple starting routes - these are demonstrations using common and viable routes, but by no means are they the only routes you should use. I'm constantly filling out more paths for each champion. These clears were performed by myself or various Master+ level one-tricks, and are min-maxed heavily for both health and speed. Each clear uses standard runes for each champion (clear-specific runes like Absolute Focus, etc. were not taken) and is performed leashless. While these clears are generally the best available demonstrations available for each champion, none are perfect - if you happen to have superior runs for any of these champions, feel free to PM me a clip, and I will review it and upload it to the document. For the sake of consistency, please make sure that standard runes are used, and that the clear is leashless. If you have any champions you'd like to request, feel free to ask. It has to be annoying to lose 24+ min (every redo I did untill now as of writing this, I plan to test more) for me to exit and change stuff. For what reason is there no option for it?
