| Posted: 05 Jun 2020 10:06 AM PDT I know not everyone is gonna have this opinion but a lot of the newer champions have been either human or very, VERY close to human and to be honest.... It's getting kinda boring. With a high fantasy world like Runeterra that has so many interesting species and races in it like Yordles, Vastaya, Darkin, etc... It's kinda lame that for most of the time we only really get humans. Now I understand WHY this is the case. Humans are probably much more broadly appealing and are easier to conceptualize and animate. I just kinda wish we got to see some more variety, which is why I'm hoping that jungle Bambi ends up actually being more animalistic and not like, Kai'sa 2.0 Idk, just kinda hope that this 'Ionian Forest Spirit' actually ends up looking cool or unique is all Edit: Literally half of you has made the low hanging "LMAO TWITCH DEER LMAO" joke and none of you have been funny. As a support main, it's so frustrating to make plays nonstop, have to position well, roam map, etc while Yuumi can effectively afk on the most fed enemy champion and heal for insane amounts. I don't give two shits about win rate, play rate, ban rate. This is bigger than stupid ass statistics. Yuumi is a problem. Her reward is so insane for doing below the bare minimum. If she doesn't get banned, you already know she'll be insta picked. I'm just tired of it. I'm one of those ppl who genuinely thinks no champ is really OP/broken and I'm not gonna say she's broken or OP. But damn is she stupid. Like really. So tired of this shit. I hate having to waste a ban on such an awful champion. This is the only time where I can honestly say she was a mistake; she should be removed from the game. [link] [comments] | ||

I've actually been noticing over the last few months how we're starting to see more and more "off meta" picks. After hearing so many different champions get called "broken" over the last few weeks, I've realized none of these champs are actually that broken; it's just that we actually have to learn how to counter-play the entire roster right now. This is great for the game, because it means 1) that one tricks have a chance without having to learn a new trick, and 2) champion select is no longer a formality, and is now an actual draft. This statement is surprising and disappointing. There are still tons of champions that desperately need some help. Skarner's pickrate is so low he doesn't even have data on op.gg . Udyr's been missing features and has been so forgotten it's not even funny. Kog'Maw doesn't see play at all unless Lulu is meta and his role as a hybrid damage hypercarry has been completely overshadowed by Kai'Sa, and that's only 3 champions. There's still Shyvana, Ziggs (who?), Corki, Aurelion Sol, Malphite, Taliyah, and Tahm Kench that all either have almost no play rate, binary boring kits that feel outdated and lack identity, or unhealthy or unfun gameplay that needs to be addressed and reworked somewhat (ASol, Taliyah and Tahm fit in here). I love new champions. They're very exciting and build hype when they come into the game, but it's disheartening that so many champions just get left in the dust and forgotten because Riot doesn't think it's worth it.
