Professor Akali intentionally feeding and going afk 16 games in a row just to make a "Challenger Akali Main visits Iron 4" Video

Professor Akali intentionally feeding and going afk 16 games in a row just to make a "Challenger Akali Main visits Iron 4" Video

Today i woke up to see this Professor akali video in my recommended https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNe2mKZx1Tg

with the classic "Challenger Akali Visits Iron4" Title

And a comment brought to my attention that he intentionally lost 16 games in a row to get to play in this rank so i went and checked it my self

So i Opened op.gg and searched the name of the account he was playing on in the video "ProfessorIRONxd" and geuss what there where no account with this name

So i searched the name of his jungler playing zac "Wreck It Ralph**"** And found the game that had the fed akali in it , which is his only zac game go check it if u want https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=Wreck+It+Ralph

And i found out that he changed the account name to "reeeeeeent" Right after he finished making this video his op.gg https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=reeeeeeent

and if u check this op.gg ur gonna find that the last 3 games played where akali games that he won (last one played is the one in the video) but before that all of the other games is him going 0/8 ,0/13 etc for 16 games in a row

Now Tell me is it ok for a player for ruin the experince of 70 players just to make a youtube video styling on low elo player?

Edit:he just admitted to breaking Riot Tos on twitter https://twitter.com/TheBestAkaliEvr/status/1310940011559227392

I am the world's worst player. AMA

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 01:21 PM PDT

Wondering how I get out of bed in the morning without injuring myself? Me too.

My op.gg. I have been bronze (or worse) since I started playing four years ago, despite playing thousands of games.

After a certain amount of time you become desensitized to losing and actually find enjoyment in other aspects of the game. For this reason my mental is impenetrable and I can proudly say I never tilt or flame my teammates. After all, how could I when no one ever does worse than me?

I recently started playing flex pick in hopes of more fair matches than blind pick. Naturally, I was placed Iron IV, but have made it up to Iron III 37 LP after about 100 games.

That was until last night, when I was banned for intentionally feeding. Yep, that's right, I lost a game so hard that it was indistinguishable from losing on purpose and I am no longer allowed to play.

So there you have it. I am officially the world's worst player and I will be using my newfound free time to answer any questions you may have. Don't worry about being sensitive, I am accustomed to mass amounts of verbal abuse, so asking about my learning disorder or symbrachydactyly is not insensitive, but instead welcome.

See you in your next promo game!

Edit: Thank you so much for all the support everyone! I really don't know what to say. You all have shown me more kindness than I've ever seen in the game or in real life and if being banned was necessary to receive it, then it was worth it. I think I finally got to all the comments and I'll do my best to answer any more that come my way! Love you all. Hakuna matata muchachas ❤️✌🏾

With how often champs like Kindred and Senna have been played at worlds, seeing their stacks would be nice

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 02:32 AM PDT

Truly just the title. It would be really nice for the viewers if there was some way to see how far into the game these champions are. Especially Senna, since her stacks are a pretty big deal. During the LEC streams this summer they would show when a champion had finished a certain items, maybe something similair can be done for every Kindred stack and/or every 10 or 20 Senna stacks.

Fun Fact: Kai'Sa was the last new champion without any form of hard CC

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 04:24 AM PDT

She was released 7th of March 2018, second last champion without any form of hard CC was Illaoi, released 24th of November 2015. (not counting Reworks, but IIRC there were no major reworks without hard CC on a champ)

Not saying it's a worrying trend since hard CC is such a vital part of the game, just like mobility. Looked it up for me and and thought it might interest you.

Also - Kai'Sa, Lucian, Ezreal, Nidalee, Katarina and Master Yi and Sivir are the only champions in the game without any form of CC at all.

Edit: If you feel old because Illaoi was released 2015, legit 5 years ago, I started playing on Wukong release (mid 2011) and I feel ya.

Edit2: missed Sivir on the no-CC team

Additional changes to items from Mark Yetter

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 09:40 AM PDT

    https://twitter.com/MarkYetter/status/1310975144467202048

Tear is now a starter item. This let's you start stacking while you build a mythic and complete seraphs or Muramana second.

There is a trade off though it's weaker for lane with a scaling payoff.

Oblivion orb now offers mages grevious for cheaper than the full morello.

Sheen no longer has mana on it or a mana crystal component. This opens up a lot more users of the item and the items it builds into. (We're doing a small mana buff for champs that needed it before)

Dorans ring restores health if you have no mana on kill. Opening it up to a few more AP champs.

There are a few rune adjustments. We're not doing any big changes but the transition from CDR to haste means we need to change a few.

With the item rework, League will never be the same again

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 02:17 PM PDT

Items are probably the last relic of "old league." The map, Runes, masteries, champions have all been reworked and massively changed, items are the last thing. Get ready for dashes, shields, stealth, damage, and tankiness like never before seen. If I have to use an analogy, old items are Udyr and new items are Akali. When a single item gets a buff, the entire meta changes. Now imagine this except with every item. It's going to be WILD. League will never be the same again. Whether that's good or bad is up to you. We can't go back. Enjoy the rest of the season.

These are the champion specific changes going to the PBE today (9/29) for preseason.

The goal of most of these changes is to ensure the champions work correctly with the new item system while maintaining compelling build choices.

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 08:35 AM PDT

Essence Reaver is probably the Ryze of items. This item has been reworked a ton of times and had its stats and niche changed multiple times since it was introduced.

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 11:44 AM PDT

Is there any other item like this?

    • Back when it was initially introduced in season 4, Essence Reaver used to be a lifesteal item with only 10% CDR. Back then, the mana restore passive worked on all attacks independent of them critically striking, but it would restore mana equal to the amount of physical damage you dealt to enemies, based on your missing mana.

    • Then, in pre-season 6, this item was reworked to be a crit chance item, with its lifesteal removed. It still gave 10% CDR, but could also now give a potential maximum of 30% CDR by itself, depending of how much crit chance you have from other items. Back then, this item was great for ADC casters (please don't confuse with AD casters) such as Lucian, as well as Sivir. You only needed 10% extra CDR from runes, or another item, to maximize 40% CDR. Also, the mana restore passive was reworked to only work when your attack was a critical strike, and it was also changed to always restore 3% of your maximum mana.

    • Then, in patch 8.11 (a patch where Riot did a lot of changes to marksmen itemization) they reworked Essence Reaver once again. It lost its crit chance entirely, and it gives 300 mana now. The mana restore on-hit has been nerfed to 1% of your MISSING mana, but buffed to be once again independent from critical strikes. By far the most significant change, however, was the new passive. After casting your ultimate, your next attack in the next 10 seconds would give you 30% attack speed, basic attacks would refund 20% of your basic abilities' cooldowns. This was intended to give ADC casters more synergy with casting abilities and auto attacking, but ironically, none of them found this item's passive to be interesting. But even more ironically, the champions that started purchasing this item were Riven, Jax, and Renekton, which not only are not ADCs at all, but two of them are manaless! They made such good use of the passive, that this item's mana and mana restore passive being completely wasted were irrelevant.

    • Then, in patch 9.3 (a patch where they fixed a ton of the marksmen itemization changes they did in patch 8.11) they reworked Essence Reaver once again. They removed the mana, as well as the ultimate refunding cooldowns passive, and moved it to a (not so) new item named Spear of Shojin (which was eventually removed because it was too OP on the champions it was purchased, namely Riven, Renekton, and Jax). This item is now once again a crit item, but with a few differences from its pre-season 6 incarnation. The first one is that it gives 5% extra crit chance, for a total of 25%. The second difference is that the mana restore passive is still independent from critical strikes, and it has been buffed to restore 1,5% maximum mana. The third difference is that instead of giving you a maximum potential of 30% CDR, this item now always gives you 20% CDR. The build path has also been changed. The BF sword has been removed and instead, you were required to purchase a Pickaxe to build this item. This was a double edged sword change. On one hand, this item was technically cheaper to build. On other hand, many people would mistakenly buy a BF Sword, still thinking this item would build into Essence Reaver (which is natural, because BF Sword was part of this item's recipe for most of its history). Eventually, Riot re-added the BF Sword back to this item's recipe (and removed the Pickaxe). This nerfed this item (which was OP on higher elo/competitive due to how cheap it was) but also proved to be a great QoL change for the aforementioned reasons.

    • Apparently, Riot is reworking Essence Reaver once again. Judging from this page, which shows the full list of changes they will make to items during the upcoming pre-season, they will probably do those changes: First, this item is going to be 400 gold cheaper. Then, it will give less AD (30 less than what it gives). The CDR is being replaced with ability haste, which is understandable considering the former is being reworked into the latter. By far the most significant change, however, is the passive. The mana restore passive has been reworked into a Spellblade passive which, in addition to restoring 3% of your maximum mana, also deals 100% of your base AD + 40% bonus AD as physical damage. As a Spellblade passive, it naturally only works on the next basic attack you will do after casting a spell. It will probably have Sheen in its recipe (it would be weird if it did not). This means Essence Reaver is now going to be the fourth Spellblade item, this time aimed at AD crit champions, alongside Trinity Force (for AD bruisers), Iceborn Gauntlet (for tanks) (I've just noticed they will rework IBG and it will no longer be a Spellblade item), and Lich Bane (for APs). Keep in mind this rework may not at all come to live, Riot may decide to scrap it until then. It has a high chance of still coming to live, but Riot has been known to scrap changes they announced in the pre-season before they ever hit live (they did this with the lethality Hydra item in the last pre season).

With preseason we will lose Athene's unholy grail which is one of the last items named after a former player left in the game

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 08:25 AM PDT

Just interesting to see that athenes is finally being removed. The item used to be named after one of the earliest players to play this game, Athene, who was a fairly big streamer in league of legends and a Ryze one trick. I feel like at some point all the referral friends he had were botted anyways but that might also me saying bs. He might also own a cult now?

Invisibility feels so inconsistent and is only going to get worse with the new Duskblade

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 12:38 PM PDT

After the invisibility changes years ago it's been such a confusing mess to deal with, especially for new players. The lack of oracles or really any counter to invisibility is bad enough, but it's also just unnecessarily confusing. I can control ward for Evelynn, but not Shaco. Ignite reveals enemies, but it's not True Sight. And now with the new item changes, Duskblade is about to give invisibility to so many other champs that didn't already have it and don't fucking need it.

Seriously, juggling between what is camouflage, stealth, invisibility, etc. and what is/isn't counterable is so confusing and I really hope Riot either makes a new Mythic item that just straight up gives you True Sight or homogenizes the stealth system so it isn't so god damn unintuitive.

Anyways, these are just complaints from a gold player having night terrors about the inevitable Duskblade Zed/Shaco. Thanks for reading.
