The flux comes as TSM are struggling to nail down former Suning support SwordArt, who they were close to a deal with but may fall apart due to immigration and payment issues, per sources. Doublelift wants to play with a top foreign support and may not play otherwise

Muting someone in-game should keep them muted in the after-game lobby

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 04:42 AM PST

    Basically title.

If I properly use the mute function that Riot Games provides us players to fight against toxicity, why do I need to read some toxic messages from that same player in the after-game lobby? The same as muting someone in champ select keep them muted in-game, muting someone in-game should keem them muted after-game.

[FANART] Ahri Top Model: ENCHANTED Magazine

[FANART] Ahri Top Model: ENCHANTED Magazine

Lately I'm exploring the possibilities focused on the world of fashion and models from famous magazines, like Vogue. I wanted to take the idea to the world of fanart and my own to analyze it more and more deeply.

People who already know my work and something about my preferences, will understand this phase, since my main objective has always been aesthetics and its influence on the world throughout the centuries. It's very fun and interesting to connect it with something current such as League of Legends, in my opinion.

I hope you like it too.

    Regards.

Not sure how many people have seen a boxed copy of League of Legends

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 07:54 AM PST

    Photos of the box.

I got into League very early. I remember running to Best Buy and grabbing a boxed copy. With the disc, you got a really cool map which on the other side shows the original champs. Also came with a $10 RP card and a code for some skins.

If you've never seen it, it's really cool to have. My account also has a Silver Kayle and Young Ryze, which I believe were included with the boxed copy. There is some history in this box and some of these champs look very different today.

    From League's wiki page:

The Retail Collector's Edition is the paid version of the game League of Legends, and costs US$29.99. It includes US$10 of RP (1380 RP) for use in the store, 4 Special Summoner Runes which come out to 2255 IP. The Digital Collector's Pack costs 2393 RP and has been available since July 14, 2009. Purchasing each champion individually comes out to 25200 IP or 10790 RP. The two pre-order exclusive skins are no longer available after October 26, 2009.

-- Edit - Wow, I had no idea there would be this much discussion or upvotes. I enjoy breaking out the game and the map occasionally and thought some others might like to see it. Thanks for all the love and the memories!

--Edit 2 - Here she is in all her glory, Silver Kayle my first skin.

-- Edit 3 - The first skin I bought was Riot Girl Tristana. I was wrong, I don't have Black Alistar or Young Ryze. Looks like I remembered that part wrong.

    This offseason is straight depressing.

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 12:50 PM PST

Idk about you all but god damn this offseason for pro league is sad as shit and honestly kinda sucks.

The amount of changes, role swaps, and emotions going around the entire scene right now is honestly the most I've ever seen and it should be exciting but god damn it's not. And the worst part is it isn't even over.

    Just to name some

    Perkz is leaving G2

    Rekkless is leaving Fnatic

    DRX and Pyosiks stream

Jin air green wings is gone

Rush might never come back to the scene of league(not related but still sad)

    Bjergsen retired

    Broxah to CLG

This shit sucksssss. But at the same time I respect the decision and hope everyone respects their decisions as well.

[Travis Gafford] Golden Guardians is said to be currently looking at Stixxay and LATAM support Newbie in the botlane

KEY ROSTER ALERT: Golden Guardians is said to be currently looking at Stixxay and LATAM support Newbie in the botlane for the 2021 season.

Compared to the other bot lanes in LCS this seems a bit weak but with GGS' budget constraints it may make sense.

Theory: They removed Adaptive Helm because it will be in Dr. Mundo's kit in his rework.

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 08:04 AM PST

Just the title. If you think about various types of pain, you notice repetitive pain less and less after a while. This will make him our Messiah for all of these dots and repeated damages that have been buffed and added to the game this preseason. I feel like, in a way, that the item's passive is slightly more interesting than boosted health regen, and provides him a nice slot to fill against the champions and items Adaptive Helm was meant to be built against. Bet.

Edit: I would like to redirect the focus of my theory to the idea that I primarily believe Adaptive Helm's old passive will be in Dr. Mundo's new kit, and not necessarily that it was the sole reason for its removal in the first place. Someone in the thread provided a good discussion about the purpose of dots being to melt tanks, which is objectively true. But, there is still a place for such a mechanic to exist with the rise of dots within this patch from tanks, on-hit carries, spammable magic damage spells, and, of course, dot mages.

So when is Samiras passive knockup getting removed

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 12:10 PM PST

I know the range of the dash is about to be nerfed in the upcoming patch, but this really feels like a bandaid solution to her larger issue.

She's currently one of my favorite ADCs to play because she's not only mobile, but also can get in close and duel. On top of her having a great defensive ability like her W she should NOT have CC on top of it. Her knockup is quite literally the one thing keeping her from being a much more fair character to lane against.

Charts for champions damage dealt, taken and more: 10.23 vs 10.22

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 02:59 PM PST

Charts for champions damage dealt, taken and more: 10.23 vs 10.22

The following charts use data taken from Lolalytics, tier Diamond+, only the main role for each champion is taken into account (mostly for technical reasons, it happened to be the fastest way to gather data). This means that Maokai, Annie (and maybe other that I didn't notice), have data for different roles in the two patches, therefore their numbers should be ignored.

I will mostly look at adcs because it's the role that I know a little better, but the main purpose of this post is to share these charts and if you want some more with some data you are interested in just tell me and I will add it (keep in mind I have only the stats available in the box on the right side of lolalytics champion page).

This chart compares the total damage (to champions) variation from 10.22 to 10.23 for each champion

As you can see we find most crit marksmen at the bottom, together with some of the poke mages. Almost all the other roles got a damage "buff" (directly or indirectly, if you live more you do more damage and vice-versa).

Damage Taken / Deaths variation from 10.22 to 10.23

Taking a look at crit adcs we can see that they are not actually living a lot more than before since they are not at the top of the chart. But this doesn't take into account damage mitigated by shields, so let's take a look at the deaths in each game:

Damage variation and (normalized) death variation from 10.22 to 10.23

This chart contains normalized death variation, a 0% death variation doesn't mean that champion dies less overall, but only it dies less than the variation for the average champion (remember almost everyone dies more often with the new patch). As we can see most crit adcs don't die less, this might answer why they are complaining a lot: they are dealing almost the same amount of damage as before while dying as much.

At the same time, almost everyone else deals more damage, giving the feeling of ADCs with a lot less damage than they had previously (which is actually not true, you can crunch the number of their dps and you will see they are mostly the same as 10.22).

PS: sorry for my bad English

Marksmen LOSE damage vs. minions when completing their mythic

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 01:16 PM PST

All three marksman mythics build out of Noonquiver, which gives 20 on-hit vs. minion.

    • Shieldbow's components give 45 AD + 20 minion on-hit, while combined it has 50 AD, so you lose 15 average damage per auto vs. minions.
    • Kraken Slayer's components give 55 AD + 20 minion on-hit, while combined it has 60 AD (65 after the upcoming buff), so you lose 15 (or 10 after the buff) average damage per auto vs. minions.
    • Galeforce's components give 55 AD + 20 minion on-hit, while combined it has 55 AD, so you lose 20 average damage per auto vs. minions.

Aside from the other issues w/marksman stats being awkward this makes upgrading the items feel kinda bad as you pay ~600 gold to actually lose damage vs. creeps as the most gold reliant role in the game.

G2 having a monopoly on the best players (even bcs it's the best Org) is bad for the LEC.

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 02:25 PM PST

G2 esports gets the best players (got 2 star players from the 2nd best team) And it is turning it to a monopoly like the bundesliga, where one team is getting all the best players. Bcs they have money, influence or other perks.

This will make the LEC overall less competitive. And boring to watch.
