The season has waned and the winter has come upon us, and I hope everyone who reads this stays healthy and well. As for me, I have been spending time for myself for the first time in seven-and-a-half years, the first time since I had first debuted as a professional gamer, I carefully word myself as I have important news to share with you today. I first debuted in 2013. In the eight years that followed it, I ran tirelessly and found many achievements and immense growth. I received immeasurable love and support from the fans. As of this year, I was not able to achieve all results that I would have personally been satisfied with. However, I was able to play at LoL Park and broke the record of 4000 assists in the LCK, making 2020 an unforgettable year for me. Throughout my career as a League of Legends professional gamer, I received the support and interest from the audience to a level I wonder if I'd ever be able to experience again. I was able to play on the truly big stages and take away countless positive memories. As I have mentioned before -- I've been spending time to myself these days, for the very first time since I had debuted as a professional player. As a player, I had always given it my all. However, I wonder if in that process I was negligent towards myself as a person -- Myself as Kang Beom-Hyun. Of course, as I walk away I will be leaving behind some goals I was never able to achieve as a professional gamer, and there are regrets that go with them. The gothic style is neat and each character looks very unique, especially for 750 RP. I think the shared splash art may have been the skinline's undoing, as I can imagine people going nuts over the individual skins if they each had a fully detailed splash of their own. Now, Quinn, Gragas, and Kalista are being taken out with the new marauder and warden skins. Shyvana has become the new club president (and only current member!) Upcoming additions may be Wukong, who has gone 979 days since his last skin, and Rumble, who has gone 972 days since his last skin. He's wildly safe taking zero damage in the jungle while having way too much built in tankiness on top of that but he also does more damage than most assassins from range with more mobility than most to boot. Oh yeah, he also has one of the strongest cc abilities in the game. But he is a CT champ so I mean I guess he has to be able to completely style on everyone without any thought at all or how could he be fun! Mark Yetter's tweet about mythic items is totally misleading Posted: 08 Dec 2020 04:36 AM PST TLDR: Graph doesn't show "stategic choice" as he presents but what champions in given class need (slow, movement speed, bonus dot, Vamp, etc.) He posted tweet with graph which shows build rate of mythic items on different classes and he is presenting it like "strategic choice" which is totally misleading and incorrect. It is like not taking differences in classes in consideration. Sustain mage (Brand) ALWAYS builds Liandry's, Burst mage (LeBlance) always builds Luden's. Yes, there are exception like cassio who can use both but 90% of class have locked their choice in long before game starts. Every items plays around/fixes champs kits in every class (slow, dash, bonus movement, bonus dot, stealth). Marksmen's mythic should be IE (crit chance -> crit damage per % crit chance), Rageblade (crit chance -> on hit per % crit chance), ER (crit chance -> spellblade % bAD per % crit chance) to fit this better but it looks like somebody just didn't know what to do about them so he made 3 random items which were giving something. Warwicks R hitbox should be changed. Posted: 08 Dec 2020 06:34 AM PST Hi! I am a lower elo Warwick main, I started playing league for Warwick and can onetrick him with decent success in most roles. Aside from him not being in the best spot at the moment there is one quality of life change I've always wanted to see. I think that the hitbox for Warwicks R should no longer go behind him. Which if you didn't know part of the hitbox for Warwick R goes behind him so if you are right up behind him he cannot ult anyone except you. I'm not exactly sure why the hitbox is like that I heard that they didn't want it to be used as an easy escape or something but I disagree. I think that this hitbox is ultimately detrimental to his gameplay. First it makes Warwicks R a lot less useful in teamfights because you can't ult a priority target if some tank or support just so happens to be right behind you which feels really uninteractive from the player perspective because I can't use my ability in an intuitive way. Second I think using your R as an escape should be a viable option given your general lack of mobility otherwise. There are a ton of champions who can do similar things such as Akali who can use two abilities that are meant for engaging as a way of escaping. Overall I believe that if the hitbox behind Warwick was reduced significantly or removed it would make his R feel a lot less clunky and make it more useful when competing against a lot of the ultra mobile champions that you can often struggle against.
