Preseason would be the PERFECT TIMING to remove stopwatch Posted: 26 Oct 2019 08:56 AM PDT As stated by riot they remove spear of shojin due to the lack of counterplay against certain champs that uses them and stopwatch honestly does the exact same thing. It gives champs such as vlad morgana or anyone rly the opportunity to get out of a sticky situation or creates scenarios in which their "play" still comes out on top due to pressing stopwatch(poorly executed towerdives for instance) or denying important kills for a few champs (pyke R reset , 300g that you needed for your next spike etc). On top its a free 600g from runes that also gives price reduction to finished items (250g cheaper: ga , stoneplate , zhonyas) and additionally reduces the passive cooldown of those items by 15% making zhonyas way too strong for what it gives already in this meta. So why does riot nerf the free boots that own a gold value of 300 while leaving a 600 gold item untouched? ​ tldr.: 1. too versatile 2. too gold efficient 3. out of jail freecard that can swing games around (4. It's bad enough that this colour scheme was already overused by many skins before Prestige skins were even a thing, but now basically every Prestige skin is the exact same in terms of aesthetics. When I saw it, I was really mad. All I ever thought was 'this guy has no conscience'. And I'm supposed to be the coach who 'protects the player'? Yeah, but I don't want to do that anymore. I don't see him as a human being anymore. When he comes to Korea, I'd like him to call me or meet me and say whatever he has to say. The team shouldn't be loosing. Sword should feel guilty. I just feel so sorry for Doran. And the other four. I feel sorry that they lost with that talent. ​ E) About my interview about 'weakening Sword' It was a lip service. I didn't try to weaken him. I always told him to be aggressive. But he couldn't and eventually, he went for Doran's Shield. I said that to protect his self-esteem as a player. And when I said that, I thought he understood what I meant. Later I knew he really thought I weakened him. So I talked to him one-on-one. I said 'How could you and Cho be fooled by my lip service?' We talked about an hour. It worked out well. I thought everything was solved at that time.
