    Hello, /r/leagueoflegends! Icy back with this week's Free Talk thread. Hope you've had a good (and safe) week!

    It's a difficult time for a lot of people right now, especially right here in the US. I know that not everyone wants to open up about how they're handling life amidst the pandemic, but for those that do I'd like to open up the floor and check in with everyone. If you just wanna talk, ask questions or even just vent, feel free to here. (Or don't - that's okay, too!)

    On a much lighter note, that summer festival draws ever closer. Whilst some things have peeked their fur-lined heads out maybe a few days early, there's still a lot we don't know about. Personally, I can't wait to see what that skirmisher-assassin champion is going to look like (flair notwithstanding, Kappa). What about you?

    Lillia’s lore makes her absolutely unplayable.

    According to Lillia's biography:

    "Lillia was born when one of the [dream] tree's own dreams was captured in a bud that fell to the ground before it could bloom... Sprouting into an awkward fawn creature with the flower bud still on her head."

    So, going off this information, we can assume that Lillia was indeed born as a baby, and did not come out fully grown. Here lies the problem.

    For those who don't know, fawns are unable to defecate or urinate without help from their mothers, who stimulate them via licking to get them to go. This prevents the babies from creating odors that could alert predators to their location!

    So, this raises the question: is Lillia even able to use the little fawn's room? Has she EVER made a "Riot's balance team" in her life? How is she even able to walk at this point? I'm just assuming that she's a ticking time bomb full of bodily waste, like a walking septic tank painfully sloshing around the forest. I mean, at this point, the poor thing must smell and sound like the bathroom at a gas station. You can probably tell she's coming from a mile away with how loud her earth-shaking farts must be.

    And if she is able to empty her guts.. who helped her? Does the dream tree have a tongue? Did a random Ionian deer just show up and start going to town on her while her tree mother watched?

    This is is only the first of the problems with her. Don't even get me started on how she somehow managed to get milk out of the dream tree, when she was only but a baby. I humbly suggest Riot add an explanation for this huge plot hole in the lore.

    There is no european that uses or likes the USA date format. For us it makes no sense and just makes you take extra time to read the information. There is no country in europe that uses this format. So why use it on EUW?

    Winning a 4v5 should split the AFK's LP between teammates who played

    It's still great to [win a 4v5](https://imgur.com/a/oyUcxAf) despite the frustration of an AFK teammate who never played, but the reward of extra LP would make a frustrating win a bit more exhilarating. If the AFK teammate isn't gaining LP, all of the teammates who fought that much harder deserve their LP for going above and beyond what a normal ranked win would prove. If LP is to gauge how "good" someone is, winning a 4v5 in their own rating should show a significant improvement in LP.
    A side note- this is the second 4v5 I've played out and actually won this season, but have lost many more than I can count to an AFK teammate. With how common it seems to be this season, the boost in morale from the extra LP would go a long way in making playing while dealing with AFK's a little less demoralizing.

    This update is mainly aimed at cleaning old stuff up and modernizing ancient VFXs.

    [Facetious] Lillia: Outrage Rises among Gamers as they Realize that Deer Legs are Very Muscular

    Soon after the announcement of Lillia, The Bashful Bloom, controversy started when one League player and Youtube commentator TheDiming posted a tweet to his account. It read:

    "Just looked into it. And yup. Deer are able to run at speeds up to forty miles per hour and jump ten feet into the air. Their kicks are insanely powerful and able to drive off larger predators with ease. Yeeup. They're forcing 'it' into League now, boys."

    Players, who were at first content to have another nice face in the game, realized that Lillia had wider, stronger legs than they do. Below are a compendium of tweets from the League community reacting to this news.

    CoDPiece92 "Just saw that Lillia supposedly has muscular legs. Thinking about it, it would definitely make more sense if she had flamingo legs, or perhaps a deer body with four thinner, more realistic human girl limbs. As it stands, just kinda confused and hurt."

    CHxXxUD "No. No way. I want Riot to release every bit of lore about this champion right now. And if they don't have a very specific, detailed, lore-backed explanation for Lillia's powerful legs, they won't be seeing me on the Rift anymore."

    I mean seriously. I can't be the only one irked by this.

    They bothered to update Irelia-Swain interactions, but Shen can't say a single word to Zed, Jhin, Akali or Kennen, even after the events of Zed comic.

    Even after the events of Confession of a Broken Blade, Yasuo is still searching after his Elder's "killer" in-game and does this "huh...that technique..." on Riven.

    The voice in the trailer sounded a lot scottish to me so i kinda had to do this drawing. The scottish is probably all wrong but i'm a spaniard so there's not much that i can do in that regard xD.

    This sub gives Riot constant shit for champs like Yuumi and Aphelios, saying that they're too out there, and Riot is too focused on doing something that hasn't been done (cue video of Meteos that has been posted at least 20 times). Then Riot releases Lillia, a champ that seems a bit more simple and straightforward, and how does the sub respond? "Neeko 2.0" "Uninspired" "Been done before." I can't imagine working on the champ design team when it seems like every new champ gets shit on regardless of their kit.

    Ya'll are impossible to please, just sayin'.

    As soon as I saw the splash are for Vayne, I knew exactly where I'd seen it before.

    3 months ago, Riot released the short story, Perennial which was a flavour piece for Ionia, but many speculated that it was setting the stage to introduce Yone as a Champion. It deals with spirits of the dead returning.

    However, the art header for the story has a shadow puppet show going on with what we can now identify as Vayne and possibly Thresh.

    You can access the client on your perma banned account now

    Before your report card would pop up and automatically exit you out of the client when you logged into your perma banned account. You can now access the client look at your skin collection etc. I'm no longer toxic as I used to be, my account was perma banned in 2016 and it was pretty nice seeing all the old icons/skins I used to own.
